Re: 2nd Super Robot Wars OG (PS3)

http://www.andriasang.com/e/galleries/2011/05/27/2nd_super_robot_wars_og_screens/ Ooooooh, it looks like they're sticking with the 2D sprites style? :D Truth be told, I was worried they'd bump OGs up to 3D. I don't really like the few examples I've seen of their 3D model style. 2D FTW!

Re: 2nd Super Robot Wars OG (PS3)

Gotta admit, the admins over there have always been a bit too troll-ish for my taste. :| So randomly, I popped my copy of OG1 into my DS today and tried to finish one of the missions I was stuck on -- one of the many missions where the ATX team faces Zengar. It's a LOT harder in the GBA game to kno...

Re: Ar tonelico Visual Book

I happened to be browsing Amazon earlier when I stumbled upon the Visual Book preorder page. Very tempting~

It's especially interesting that it's getting a U.S. release.

I saw someone mention the idea of a poster of one of the three towers. I'd totally spring for one of those, too.

Re: 2nd Super Robot Wars OG (PS3)

ah the classic 8 hour long stage...........Some of them on the gba were murder I have to admit, I'm pretty sure the only reason I never finished OG1/OG2 or OGs was because I kept hopping between the GBA games and the PS2 and eventually burned out... I love the hell out of the graphics style in OGs,...

Re: 2nd Super Robot Wars OG (PS3)

Just popping in here to show my bit of support for this, too. Day 1, if it ever arrives on American shores. :D I'm glad to hear there are some SRW fans in the NISA offices. :) MX confirmed. Hugo and Aqua are piloting Cereberus (No Garmraid? Probably be obtainable either way, through secret or other...

I think they should have made the resolution higher on this shot of Saki and Finnel

Hilarious! That got me laughing! :P

Re: Are order's shipping ???

Just dropping by to say that I got my shipping e-mail on Friday night. I waited until the beginning of this month to put in my preorder.

Spoiler:
IT'S ALMOST HEEEEEERE!

Re: Does 1 have to be 1st?

Hmmm. Personally, I played the second game before I played the first... and while the first was a small step back in graphics quality, which initially turned me off... as I got deeper into the game, I really ended up liking the first game better than the second. Maybe my memory of the first game is...

Re: Super Robot Taisen:Original Generstions (PS2)

If it means anything, Odinfan, I think the whole "lobbying" phase may have passed already. This is probably someone who just came across the thread on their own and posted support for the game, similar to how I did. No need to be so unwelcoming. ;)

Re: Super Robot Taisen:Original Generstions (PS2)

Hmmm, I picked the PS2 option, but I also have a Wii. I wouldn't mind seeing it on either console, personally; both of 'em would be up to the task. :D Actually, a cheat device alone doesn't work sometimes (if at all). Also noteworthy is that up until the Coder, which is a boot disc and cheat device...

Re: Who is your favorite reyvateil?

I have to admit, I haven't played through Mir's or Cocona's ending quite yet in AT2. The translation on Cloche's side was painful enough to kinda ward me away from getting the last two endings just yet. However, I did pick up the first game after finishing Cloche's side, and I played through all of...

Re: Super Robot Taisen:Original Generstions (PS2)

Basically, if you don't have a JP PS2, you need to have some kind of boot device that allows you to eject the boot disc (without rebooting the system) and swap in the game disc that you want to play, in order to bypass region detection. A cheat device is an example of this. ;)

Re: do u know this idiot

Not quite the dumbest person I've seen, but what makes it stand out to me is that I've actually been to this place, and this intersection. And I constantly hear about the awful drivers there.

Re: Favorite Vanguard Character?

Definitely Lyner for me. Though if I could choose one for "favorite weapon style," it'd have to be Leglius. Something about tearing the hell out of enemies with spiked discs/shields attached by wire is just... unbelievably awesome.

I also dig Jack from the first game, too.

Re: Who is your favorite reyvateil?

I'd have to say mine is Aurica, too. Her whole personality takes a huge swing for the better by the end of the story, and I can generally relate to her character the most out of all the Reyvateils. Plus, her names for things are cute.
