It's like fitting into old shoes again, so familiar, lol. I'm liking it so far. I don't know, I can't seem to deny how great it feels to finally play an ST game in English without having to look at translation guides. I'm really impressed with how it turned out. Can't wait to dig more into it. Look forward to a review in the not too distant future.

I agree completely. It just feels like something old and new all at the same time. I will admit one thing, though... I SUCK at Sakura Wars without using a guide. LOL I can't figure out these girls for the life of me.

So far I'm doing ok with the girls I guess except for Subaru. But I think I was too forward or whatever with her. I seem to be doing well with Cheiron, which I have no interest in pursuing...

Subaru is very stubborn and logically minded, so your answers have to be geared that way. Sometimes leaving her alone (time over) is the best answer.

Subaru was quite easy for me so far. Probably because I usually choose as stoic as possible responses to her.

Sagiitta, however... urgh... x.x I can not seem to please her, no matter what I say.

The girls aren't that bad...I haven't slipped up yet , the only weird one was subaru....and that was because I didn't realize not replying to the lips response was an option

I am really enjoying the game so far. I just finished Ep 1 and can't wait for the weekend so I can play a lot more.

Chapter 5 at the moment, going for Diana(I think I've done a pretty good job so far of keeping her first). Not too huge a fan of the new air battles, but that's just because I'm so used to being on the ground. Nice of them to shake things up a little, anyway.

Finally got the chance to meet Petitmint(they translated this as Peppermint, odd).

Finished chapter 2. So far I think i'll try my best with Gemini. Ratchet is a maybe.

When playing the game I do notice that when that menu comes up when you hit a checkpoint in the game to save the game, and so on that my PS3 goes temporarily blank for a few seconds with a black screen and then when going to resume it starts playing the scene but still having the screen blank for a couple of seconds. Not a big issue just a little bit of a nuisance.

Currently on the final chapter with Sagitta (OK, Cheiron...) as my fave. If it wasn't for my crazy work schedule this week and my friends wanting to go out a lot, I'd probably have beaten this game three times over by now.

I just hit Chapter 4, Ratchet would be my pick but so far Cheiron and Rosita are my top two with Subaru not far behind in third and Gemini is 4th. Does Ratchet ever become playable again? or is she just there for the first battle?

Ratchet does become playable for one quick battle in the final chapter on your second playthrough (if she is the one you chose as your partner). After that, she's too weak to continue and you go on without her. You are still able to do your combo-super with her throughout the rest of the game, even though she's not there.

Interesting.... so she's a side character for most of the game? I'm not saying that's really too surprising, but I guess I can't complain about that plot point considering the beginning of the game(lol, Ratchet's getting too old! I really have to finish watching the anime to get her full story though).

Yeah, I was a little disappointed as well about how little involvement she has in the game. But you do get some memorable dialogue scenes with her on the second playthrough that kind of make up for it. And her ending movie is pretty cute, too.
