Wish: Japanese voiceover disc for Wii sold seperately?

Hi everyone,

this is probably just wishful thinking...
I'm already content that SW5 is getting the wii treatment...but..

What would everyone's thoughts be on a Japanese voiceover disc for wii that's sold seperately?

Just thought it would be very neat...and if enough people wanted it NISA might actually make it happen? (barring any licensing issues of course...
(I would love to have one if it'd be made)..

Maybe a pre-order campaign...for those of us to actually send them the money before they make the copies?
or some kind of mail-in, where we have to send them certain inserts from the wii package?
Just asking for some thoughts...I'm not certain whether things like this have been done in past...

I dunno..~$20 is good for me to have an add-on privilege like this for the wii version I bought...
(I actually don't own any PSX lol....

Very surprised this wasn't answered yet. Anyway, I'm pretty sure those very same licensing reasons you spoke of had to have been the cause of them not releasing a JP disc for the Wii. I don't think those reasons have changed much since the games' release.

Since there was no Wii version in Japan, adding the Japanese language would have been an added expense to NISA due to licensing. Also in a way you could say that for Wii version's original language is Wii while for PS2 it's the Japanese language.

The on-screen script would still be the same anyway, right? I may have a limited understanding of Japanese, but it'll still feel awkward hearing one thing and reading another. If NISA did consider this, they'd probably try to curb costs by making the Japanese version available only through online markets (perhaps mostly RosenQueen).

Besides, I personally like the English version, and as with the case for anime with me, if a dub is available, I'll watch it.
