Sakura Wars - PS2 or WII version?

Postby Thunar » Sun Jan 23, 2011 12:33 am

So which should I buy to play?

Is the WII version any prettier due to it being a newer console?

Steve.

If you want Japanese voices, buy the PS2 version.

It's the same exact game so I say get the PS2 version. But the game looked pretty good as is when I was playing the PS2 version considering how old the PS2 version is in Japan(Wii version doesn't exist in Japan). Plus my PS2 copy came with a pretty cool booklet and poster with it as well as the Japanese voice disc and English voice disc for whichever is your preference or if you want to listen to both tracks. Wii version is English dub only.

Thanks very much.

My gf is Japanese so I like having Japanese audio when possible.

So I will go for the PS2 version.

Thanks!

I had bought both versions at release, doing my part to boost sales to help get the other titles stateside. Interestingly enough, to this day I've not even opened the Wii version.

They are identical. Either one is good.

It's been a while since I played, but I vaguely remember the Wii version having some very minor graphical differences, such as a weird fade-from-one-scene-to-the-next wipe effect. Other than that, can't remember many differences between the two.

I have the PS2 version. Unfortunately it got fried. I'll get one sooner or later and beat this game. I really want to do so.
