Female Main Character would definitely make the game interesting...in the backdrop of some corporate headquarters Netherworld, where the Overlord is CEO or Chairman or something rediculous.

Something like this: In this netherworld, all demons are employed by Netherworld Industries, or Netherworld Corp., All demons employed by this company have quotas to keep (something akin to "Fear Energy" in D4), well CEO(Overlord) goes bats**t crazy and fires just about EVERYONE, including the MC. As revenge (because thats what demons DO), the MC starts a new company (With the home base being filled with cubiles and fire) and starts hostile takeovers in typical N1 fashion.

If it weren't against the rules (I assume) from that corporate netherworld I'd be tempted to post my Disgaea inspired CEO overlord character Cechantis.

Endless Corporation: Home office is a city sized asteroid (buildings come off at all angles) floating in the Black Netherworld.

Buisiness offices are in a layer of The Cone (a hell that has layers), which is an area the size of North America filled with buisiness offices, hallways, lunch rooms, ect...

also controls a tower that is divided up by land masses through three other layers of Hell.

the Workshops, again size of North America, but thousands stories high, souls start at one end work till they die, are brought back and then work in the next workshop in a massive spiral from outer rim to inner then down to next set of workshops.

below this is Asylum Tower, where goods are sold to demons from other hells, soul bodies have to work retail here (your prison cell is in back of the store you work in). It basically a massive tower mall going from the cieling to the floor of an otherwise red desert layer.

then the Warehouse is below in the next layer, north america sized ware house run mostly by automated systems and guarded by robotic demons and shadowy demon hound things that crawl on the shelves. This layer is also many miles deep.

and that is just the tip of the iceberg of Cechantis' reach, basically a monopoly on inter-hell trade and buisiness. Most demons are too unrully to bother creating much of their own infrastructure.

What do I want to see in the next Disgaea? Negative specialists. Specialists that poison my guys or put them to sleep until they are subdued and either cleaned up into regular specialists or simply removed and destroyed/recycled.

I would love to see a female MC but that won't happen but so the Idea of a Male human who turns evil sounds kind of fun or turns into a demon at the end is good to about this news it makes me excited to hear it I hope it's for the PS3

Although, conversely, a prideful demon who's turned into a human might be interesting.

But the Transformation wasn't complete I still want a female MC demon maybe and a human male who turns into a demon or a human turning into a celestial angel but whatever they decided to do I hope the game comes out amazing and more dlc

If I had to guess I wouldn't say that this is Disgaea 5 but maybe a gaiden game focusing on the original D1 cast. Hmm... could that be what project D is about?

I kinda have to admit, while my general reaction to this has been non-stop squeeing, Laharl wearing pants is underwhelming compared to when Marjoly started wearing actual clothes.

personally i want to know about the roster more... are we gonna have the chars/monsters back that wernt added from previous version? or have a complete roster from all games ie all chars/monsters.

I seriously doubt they'll have all the humanoid and monster classes from previous games.

But I was dissapointed at how few were in Disgaea 4.

Also dissapointed in how limited the space is to hold and keep the different units was.

I would like to see a few monsters return that havn't been seen since the first game like the Pumpkin Jacks, Sharks, and Manticores. The monster roster has been moving away from Horror to fantasy (with Orcs, Moth beasts, ect...) which is fine and good, but it would be nice to have a few of the more halloween like ones come back and maybe bring in a few more like (Masked Slashers, Mummies, Gillmen, Werewolves)

Well considering that Flonne is still a Fallen Angel I doubt this is D5 but still maybe Flonne just went back to being a Fallen Angel anyway. If this is anything I imagine this is a spin-off that MAYBE be before D4 and how she became a Archangel but yeah. Also Laharl's new outfit is so awesome. Now if only Flonne was an Archangel they would all have their new outfits on. But it's a summer greetings card so it maybe D5.

Actually, Flonne became an Archangel in D3's Raspberyl Mode.
