American USA Disgaea 4 (Import) DLC Usage on German PS3

Hello everyone,
i got Disgaea 4 from the Nisa store. Now i want to know, how do i manage the dlc?
I know i need to get it from the american psn, they have much more anyway. But i heard about something like "Ip ban" and such, which should block or hinder other players to use the american dlc to get dlc. Now what i want to know is, how can i get this to work?
I dont want to buy another, german copy of Disgaea 4. Even if im a huge fan and own every single game of the series. But i wont commit to the stupid managing of dlc and accounts... . :/

So, how can i get to work my german ps3 with the amercian Disgaea 4 and the matching dlc?
I dont have an psn so far.., i wanted to get two psn accounts so i can buy the dlc assap and dont have to worry about it anymore.

Please help me =).

On a Sidenote: More then 2 month is quite long for "translating" the dlc into another language... . So i dont understand why europe always gets the bad, asswhole like card for games and dlc.. . I pay the same as everyone else for the games :/.
Translating from english to german shouldnt be that hard =). But honestly i dont know the process behind that, so im open for a good explanation.

As far as I know, you can't get banned for buying DLC from other regions. Many people do it all the time, myself included.

In most cases, the DLC should work on any account on your PS3 once it's been downloaded. However, some publishers like EA will bind the DLC to the account that purchased it.

I would like to hear more answers before i actually start purchasing anything. I support NIS and NISA through purchasing, even brought the Japan Support contents before. I just want some similar treatment for my money =).
Have anybody else tried this? Any experiences?

I really just want the DLC, as much as possible xD. I brought the PS3 only for Disgaea 3 and 4 so far =]

A friend of mine told me that you cant log into the american psn from a german ps3 anymore because Sony kinda ip banned machines outside of the usa.. . Now im wondering if that is true and how i can avoid that. Like using Proxy, a ps3 from another country or such... .

Besides, would the Flonne dlc work for the german Disgaea 4 if i have to get it?...

There is no IP ban. But if you don't believe me you could just try it for yourself. It doesn't cost any money to make an account and connect to the PS Store.

The US DLC will only work on US versions of the game, though.

Had a US PSN since the E3 Xbox 360 RC1 (Also know as Slim) was released and hate on.

Haven't been banned or anything (even got free game, when PSN went down )

I have a european ( dutch ) ps3, and I buy american games all the time. I use a dutch PSN account as my main account, and an american account to buy the DLC on, then switch to my dutch account and play the game using the DLC.
I think that's what you needed to hear, right?
also works for japanese DLC with a japanese account to play on a european account.

You can buy US PSN cards off Ebay.de or look for them on amazon de but your best bet is Ebay there decent in price and they send you the code in email pretty fast. some may ask for u to give you phone number to confrim u made this prucahse and they also had online confrim chat to so there you go . i hope that helps you out
