Disgaea, Nippon Ichi Software's popular role-playing game franchise, is finally making its Windows PC debut. The first game in the series, the PlayStation 2's Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, will be heading to Steam for a February 2016 release.
The strategy RPG, which has been appropriately retitled Disgaea PC, will offer the usual Steam accoutrements, such as achievements and badges. Its user interface will also receive an upgrade.
The version coming to Steam will include all of the added content of the Afternoon of Darkness re-release, which launched on PlayStation Portable and was later ported to Nintendo DS.
How is this not all over the board? I don't think it's a hoax (would be an odd game choice for that).
Here is to hoping the modding community will be able (and willing) to tackle the game and possibly add new classes and stages because PC.
