Well majority of people that play CoD do feel that way. Actually, a majority of Americans feel that way too. Maybe 52%-ish. The remaining 48% are full of people that don't care, but don't play; play but keep it a secret for they're scared people will look down on them and call them nerds; and crazy Otakus that throw cards at people and scream, "I activate my trap card!" causing people to look down on anime-like video games.

I would probably murder anyone that says anything bad about videogames or manga.

I know, I can hardly find any Disgaea fans in the EU or UK. Probably because people are into that CoD crap...no offence to anyone that likes CoD though.

You know what CoD sucks and anyone that likes it better than NIS America games should take offence. I hate FPS it is really boring to me.

FPS is one letter away from FaPS. I agree 100%.

I've talked to a couple people who have at least heard of Disgaea but are afraid to get into it, because they're afraid of how deep and complicated the battle system might be. Haven't converted anyone yet, though I had a friend who had just begun to play D1, when his game got stolen.

When I picked up Disgaea 4, I took it to a fast food joint to read the book and peruse the art book during lunch. A waitress saw it and thought it was from an anime that her nephew or somebody was into. :( The only anime I have ever watched was the Disgaea one (does two episodes of One Piece I watched with a friend over the internet count?).

I'd be like, "Bitch please."

But it sounds like we're a religious cult cuz we're "converting" people! I love it! We could totally be a religion though. The deep story of Disgaea is our background and Fear the Great is our apocalypse.

I wore the Pram "Reading is FUN-demental!" t-shirt to work once, and someone came up to me and started talking about Makai Kingdom :X unfortunately, it's one of the few N1 games I haven't actually played :(

I am a proud German Disgaea fan and did tell a few people about the game, i tend to keep it short. The posibile ways to improve your strength are too complicated as a whole for new people to understand, unless they ask about it i tend to just say stuff like "you can level your weapon, improve your cracters, maximum level is 9999 with like 200.000 stored" n such..
I tryed to convince a good friend of mine but he prefers games with a open world and he does not like solid colour art, so sadly it ain't his kind of game.

If I could just get a Prinny backpack like Nisa has! I wonder how many people would come up to me and be like, "I love your Prinny bag!" First I need money...*sigh* back to my prostitution...but it's in the name of Disgaea so it's okay.

(Hey look! Another cult act! Sell yourself for Disgaea!)
