New Pram's Wish List

As some of you may have noticed, we are redesigning our Pram's Wish List website. It will, of course, look better and be easier to use, but we'd like to know if our users have any ideas on how to improve it. So let us know if there's anything you absolutely love or loathe about the current site and what you'd like to see added/removed in the new version.

The one thing I disliked was that things were just taken off at random without real reasons... I would have liked if there was some kind of section saying it wasn't approved or something, and maybe a reason why. Some of the things I was voting for were in like, the 400s vote wise and they just vanished without a trace :[ I actually had hopes for them :\

I'm obviously registered here and just a moment ago registered on nisamerica.com as well, since I at first thought this forum registration was the full deal Anyway... is there a time limit on when you're allowed to vote to prevent account spamming and if so when can I vote?

I think the wishlist had its own account roster...and also I think you can only vote on anything once a day. You can vote on multiple things, but only once every 24 hours

The old Pram's Wish List runs off of the old user database, so it won't work with the new website accounts. That's one of the reasons we're trying to get the new one finished quickly.

Maybe accepted wishes could be immediately taken off and put on another list, possibly with the date it's been approved of? IIRC, on the previous list, things like "Disgaea posters" or "Manga" had been approved and stayed on that list for as long as I could remember. It takes a lot of place. I remember when Broccoli books closed down, people thought that NISA found another publisher for the mangas because the wish list still had "manga" on the approved list.

Also, maybe have someone patrol and removed requests that just simply cannot be done? I mean, no matter how many people ask NISA for Phantom Brave 2, Ash for DLC in D3, or to port Makai Kingdom on PSP, NISA can't do that since they aren't the developer, just the publisher. This could probably cut down on space for other plausible requests.

Then again, those are some minor things, so yeah... just my two cents.

wait, i thought that they DID find new publishers because i never saw that list BEFORE broccoli stopped... crap ><.... so we're not getting the Disgaea 2 manga completed?

Unless I've missed a memo somewhere, no I don't think they have found a new publisher. I think I've read on the old boards, or was it a totally different board that some people outside were trying to see if a publisher could be found, but I never seen anything official.

I could be mistaken though, but as of now, I think the manga is pretty much officially stopped. ;.;

How about instead of residing the wish list to only the online shop, it could be for both the online shop and in actual stores. Some of us want things from the shops, but have no way of actually being able to order them.

Which actual stores though? Maybe it's different where I'm at, but unless it's a collectible store, most of the stuff on the online store just isn't found anywhere... bar the video games of course. Not many places sell video game collectibles and wear, and this is for about any series. I do know some exceptions, like Mario T-Shirts in certain rare stores, but that's about it...

Hmmm. Mybae Hot Topic. I know they sell a ton of video game stuff, at least around here. I get all my Sonic gear from them XD

There honestly aren't too many stores that cater to that sort of merchandise, unless you're looking at certain specialty gift shops that sell figures and those sorts of items. You'd be hard pressed to find it all in one place though.
