Disgaea 3 Returns Improvements speculations

I wonder if there'll be any continuos play ability? Or at least the ability to transfer my D3 save to the Vita. 'Twould be nice.

Another Improvement I thought of was the ability to control where your aptitude points go when you finish class world and not have them distributed randomly.

I foresee them useing the Magi-change improvements from Disgaea 4 as well as bringing in some of their cast as well. After all, they already have them in SD form.

They also should give Monsters the extra evility slot.

Anyway, hope they increase the apititude max to Disgaea 4 levels. Though they better not change drop outs and how they appear to the more annoying Disgaea 4 version.

Nah, I mean not having to wait for the Prinny to show up in your base to be able to go in the first place - just let him be there at all times.

It would be nice if the prinny just waited around. Though I usually just cleared LoC HoO4 a few times to get mana up as I waited. Still a pain though.

I saw a screen with Sir Pri in a pretty random location (somewhere near the shop) so it looks like Class World'll be the same wandering spawn like in the original.

I highly suspect the D4 cast, in part or in whole, to be unlockables. NIS has a habit of 'hand me upping' characters from games later in the series when it comes to remakes.

D1 got Adell, Rozalin and Book Zetta. D2 got Mao, Champloo, Almaz and Sapphire (and D3 Asagi, along with D3 F. Samurai)

It's very likely if not guaranteed that we will get Valvatorez and Fenrich at least. The rest are hit or miss on whether or not they'll be in.

It's not like it'd be hard. All of the new characters from D4 have SD sprites which can literally just be copy pasted into D3 return.

I'd kind of imagine Fuka, Desco, and Emizel would fit in the setting better.

That said, you're right. Sending them "down" shouldn't be very hard.

They have to include Valvatorez. At least by the pattern they've shown they will include main characters in this situation. I think they'll just do Valvatorez and Fenrich since adding the other characters would spoil the Disgaea 4 plot, especially since Disgaea 4 takes place a bit after Disgaea 3 and Makai Kingdom.

I doubt that Fuka and Desco won't make it over. They're kinda the most popular characters of D4 last I checked.

Last I checked, Mao, a main character, didn't even make it into D4 except as DLC. So not sure what pattern you're looking at there.

Furthermore, all that's actually not true. Canon and continuity, to be blunt, don't mean crap to N1. Plus, look at how DHD added cameo characters without spoiling a thing - sure, the DLC did some, but eh, DLC.

Mao, like Adell, appeared in a previous game though.

In the Disgaea 1 remake we got adell and Rozalin.
In the Disgaea 2 remake we got Mao, Raspberyl, and Champloo.
Thus I conclude in the Disgaea 3 remake we will get Valvatorez and most likely Fenrich or Fuka.
