Udon To Publish Atelier Series: Official Chronicle In U.S.

Atelier Series: Official Chronicle, originally published in Japan by Enterbrain, is a 272-page collection of art work from 11 different Atelier games, starting with Atelier Marie for the PlayStation 2. The Chronicle also includes staff interviews and character profiles.



Siliconera reader, Ereek, tipped us off to the good news that Udon are publishing the book in the U.S., and Amazon has it up for pre-order for $23.00. Meanwhile, Europeans can grab it at Tesco for £20.99. Both Amazon and Tesco have Atelier Series: Official Chronicle listed for an April 12th release.

Will Nis America Store be selling the book? Or do we have to buy it from amazon?

I strongly believe NIS America won't be selling the books, so it's better to buy them at Amazon once they're released.

Oya, I was wondering that does the book contain all the art books that were distributed with the game or does it contain even more art works that we have not see before?

It looks it'll contain more artwork than just those on the game. There's a lot of artwork that were used just as art-concepts, and maybe even those arts will be included on the artbooks.

Well actually it also includes a FEW rough character sketches from Rorona in the Interview later.Rorona got 2/3 Original Artworks for this book(They weren't in the Rorona&Totori artbook btw).Atelier Iris 1 also has a new one if I remember correctly.

For anyone interested, when I was poking through my amazon account earlier today, I found that this book had been delayed to mid-July recently. Bummed me out, since I'd been looking forward to this for a couple of months now. The Ar tonelico visual book by the same publisher is still due in June.
