Ar tonelico 1: 978-4-7973-3709-9
Ar tonelico 2: 978-4-7973-4571-1
Ar tonelico 3 First volume: 978-4-7973-6093-6
Ar tonelico 3 Second volume: 978-4-7973-6415-6

Although I don't see why you're having so much problem with them, as they're all available at Amazon.co.jp (of course, if you also want the slipcase for them, that's an entirely different story).

Because my Japanese is abysmal.

Thanks. (I thought there were 3 AT3 novels for some reason).

It's been a long time since I looked into this, is there an english product description somewhere (IIRC, the AT3 ones are after the end where they're trying to
Spoiler:
save Tyria
.

I didn't know AT1 and AT2 had them too.

Nope, there's no English product description.

And the plots for them are as follows:

At1: Takes place between the final battle with Mir and before the singing of Phantasmagoria (three months passed between both events), and suddenly, all the Reyvateils in Sol Ciel begin having bouts of insanity, similar to what happened 400 years ago when Mir first rebelled against the humans. What can Lyner and his friends do to impede the repeating of such a disaster?

At2: It's the night previous to the singing of Metafalica, and Luca and Cloche begin talking about their fears and anxiety over what will happen the next day. 400 years ago, two Maidens were in their same position, protected by their loyal knight and friend Ana, but they could never know that such a large tragedy would befall upon them...

At3 (both volumes) : Planet Ar Ciel has been finally restored, and the world is seemingly in peace. However, Tyria's body has begun to deteriorate, showing that her Tower will vanish very soon. Now, Aoto and his friends will have to seek for help from the other Towers in order to extend Tyria's life for enough time not only to allow the inhabitants of the Tower of Harvestasha to seek shelter, but also to find a way to prevent her death.

Although I have a question: any particular reasons for being so interested in buying them? After all, they won't be of any use to you if you can't read Japanese, given they all are veritable walls of text of around 375 pages each.

1. They won't be in print forever.

2. I am learning Japanese (slowly).

3. I really would like to know what happened after AT3.

Edit: I just grabbed all 4 for $56 shipped from Japan.

I said the same when I got them, too.

And if anyone's interested, I've been writing a summary for the At3 ones over here at ARM: http://artonelico.isisview.org/viewtopi ... 40#p405474

It isn't complete yet, but I hope it serves of help to those who want to see what happened to Tyria and the others after the game ended.

Ugh, this reminds me I really need to still play AT3 so I can finally delve into all the lore surrounding the Ar Tonelico universe posted at ARM. Ive been waiting for the price to drop more on Amazon for the art book too but looks like I'm just going to have to bite the bullet. I have all the art, I just want it for the interview.

Just coming by to announce I've finished the summary for the At3 novels. While it isn't as good as a full translation, I hope this at least allows everyone to know what happened after the game and what was Tyria's final fate.

^ I wouldn't even know about all that if I didn't happen to look into this thread out of curiosity. There really needs to a way to give the AT novels and your work more attention.

Ah man I'm unlucky

Your thread stirred my interest and I tried ordering the novels myself,

but it seems that the AT2 novel is already out of print,

:(

nobody here would happen to know where I could still order a copy online?
