Just noticed this on amazon with the Atelier book. Is it going to be translated?

I thought there was a thread in "General" stating that it was but I'm not sure. I hope so though!

I'm surprised there aren't more people excited about this. It's a great book. 192 pages that cover all three games with a handful of exclusive art. I really should get around to scanning it. >.>

Looking at the cover, it might be the one I almost imported.

I like to keep digital backups of everything I own. As part of my archive and so I don't have to thumb through the pages anytime I want to look at it.

The official UDON store uses Paypal. Unfortunately, it looks like they don't list pre-order items. Also, the official store generally stocks the rare/more expensive items, while UDON uses Amazon as a storefront for general sales.

Yeeeaaahhh.. I don't think that site will help much, sadly

I think Rightstuf does accept it, but don't remember since I don't use PayPal.

Holy shit wtf awesome.

I have the AT1&2 official art books, and the fanbook (mostly the characters from 1 and 2 talking with one another. I wish I could understand it) from amazon Japan.
I was ABOUT to order the visual book in Japanese along with the AT3 official art book.

Now I think.. I will wait for this english visual book. I just hope the translations are not butchered, and that it is the same quality as the Japanese one. Ugh I am almost tempted just to buy the Japanese one.

It's too bad AT isn't popular enough to have posters or wallscrolls. I'd love to have certain pictures of the towers, or the cover of the visual book (and the Mir picture inside it) in poster form. I wonder.. Now i want to see how much it costs to print custom posters.

Yea, I'd put them up in my room. Don't care what anyone thinks. Fuck yea

Just as an addendum, the fanbook is no more than recollection of everything that was posted in the Ar Portal since it went live, and until the book was released.

As for the visual book, I remember it didn't have more than a few pages of text (the longest of them being an interview), and it's there mainly because of collecting all of the pictures from the books of the three games, and adding a few new ones.

The additional images in the visual book are... the cover image of the 3 origins, 1 of Mir (very nice), a page with two of luca/cloche/cocona (can't remember which 2) and umm one more I think. Indeed. 99% are in the other books.
The images of Mir and the origins make me want to waste the money, personally.

Uhmm sorry but the only ones that are really new to the Visual Book or exclusive to it are :
-the one with the 3 Origins
- the Mir one
- Croix & Cocona together
- the Aurica & Misha
The rest are those from the Settei books(only those drawn by Nagi),the drama CDs and the Anthology Mangas. But it doesn't include any sketches or previous designs.

I pre-ordered it. I don't have any of the previous books. I would have traded in the 69 dollar LE stuff and paid an extra 10 bucks if they had added this book in as the exclusive deal instead.
