Postby Shadwell » Tue Mar 15, 2011 8:41 pm

actually there are
Spoiler:
seven endings
and they are all canon I assume since they do not vary that much between them and do not affect the next game depending on which one you choose,
Spoiler:
other than the 2 early 5th mid ending that don't really finish the story properly

Once you finish whatever you choose, check out a faq to get the others :)

Spoiler:
Lyner's "Harem" ending is probably the most canonical... so go for Shurelia, I guess.

Thanks for the help guys. :)

I was going to go for Auricas but got caught up with Shurelias cosmosphere and talk topics, i now find her to be a much more appealing character so was going with her anyway.
Spoiler:
Her summoning viruses has the other two trumped as well :P.
Shame about the whole no costumes thing though. :(

Although unfortunately, being an Origin, Costumes are impossible for her, not only because she doesn't have a Cosmosphere, but also because the ones she uses in the Binary Field aren't even made out from her own will, but actually are fabrications that Mir made to ridicule Shurelia.

And there's also the fact that all of the Origins
Spoiler:
(excepting Frelia)
have the little problem of being stuck both physically and mentally in the same way as when they were first created, due to having their mind and body parameters stored in a ROM area, which can't be modified in any way in the current times.

That does make sense, out of curiosity, i am very interested in further exploring the lore of this world, while i realise that i am very late to hit the series what would you recommend apart from playing the game, as not all of that is described through gameplay (or am i just missing something?)

I think i got her last spell
Spoiler:
Silver Horn? Though i really like ELMA.
hopefully i can get it finished off tonight then jump into the second game before my Qoga arrives.

The best things I can advise you are checking up the links I gave in the Information Repository topic, while trying to avoid spoilers for the other two games.

As for her final spell, it's actually Child of Light, and it's gotten by defeating Kanade five times (including the first time you fight against her, which is compulsory to progress in the story).

Wow, that ending really made me feel bad for Aurica. :/

Managed to get Shurelias final spell, though the final form there was much harder than Mir, so i ended up totally steam rolling her.

Thanks for the recomendation aquagon, i've been working my way through that topics info, very interesting.

Thanks for all the help you guys gave me, now onto Ar Tonelico II. :)

^^b Be prepared for a different system. Also, the third Reyvateil in AT2 is the best in the whole series. I... suspect you'll like it. *Rednal's personal opinion*
