Maybe. It's an old rule, and it doesn't even apply to PS2 collections (the Sly Cooper HD Collection is going to have three platinums on one disc for $40). It could be Lyner gathering some reactions so he can bring it up at the next meeting. Or it's what their planning on releasing next summer to fill in the Idea Factory gap left by getting Neptune done early...

Actually, speaking of HD PS2 collections, there's some wild rumors that a bunch are going to be announced at TGS. Maybe there will be something interesting announced there that might not have a U.S. publisher lined up...

That's the problem; if the first game is to be considered as less important, it won't have trophies, as it could be considered as "add-on".

Not necessarily true. I'm just a guy at NISA, not NISA itself. I just wanted to gauge interest before I bring the idea forward to the rest of the crew. And the whole platinum dealie is just common knowledge for those on "this side" of the curtains.

Not necessarily true. I'm just a guy at NISA, not NISA itself. I just wanted to gauge interest before I bring the idea forward to the rest of the crew. And the whole platinum dealie is just common knowledge for those on "this side" of the curtains.

So I'm guessing you can also bring the idea forward to the rest of the crew about Record of Agarest War Zero, right? I am playing the first game and I noticed that the voices are in Japanese, so you would only have to translate it, not even use VA's for that matter.

I am playing the first game and I noticed that the voices are in Japanese, so you would only have to translate it, not even use VA's for that matter.

SCEA demands that a game have an English voice track to be released on disc. This is why Aksys decided to release the game for PS3 over the PSN as it's not a requirement to publish a download only title. So unless you're asking NISA to distribute Zero over the PSN only, then they'll have to dub it.

I agree with Aryoch. Hey, what's another DD game? If it would mean we could get it, I don't mind it's DD.

Another 15 gig download...

If the only way we'd ever get Zero is through digital download then I'd have no choice. The price I thought was fine for it (I paid $90 for mine) But the over sized install is what killed it for me. I'd still prefer it on disc though.

Mine was 10GB, and even after downloaded, it kept at 10GB. And the price is ok, since it's the same as when it was released, and we pay a lot more for games, it's just that we don't have it physically, so it gives the impression that it was wasted money.

You're paying to be able to play the game not to touch the game. I do prefer to be able to hold the game in my hand and show it off in my collection, there are only some games I don't mind being DD, but a full length game like Agarest isn't one of them. But that's why they are a little bit cheaper.
