I'm hoping NISA decides to have the same line of reasoning they did with Phantom Brave. I mean, that game isn't any more popular than MK2 (at least as far as I know), and it seems that one of the reasons they localized was because the Wii version was already localized. Seems to be the same situation with MK2, with it having a translation already done and a PSP port. Seriously, I can't see it doing any worse than Phantom Brave (they have it as a budget title no less).
If Phantom Brave really is more popular than Mana Khemia 2, someone correct me, because I only learned about it when it was announced for localization.
... Yeah, I haven't even played either of them, but I'm going to have to say Phantom Brave is waaaay more popular. In a lot of cases, it's the only N1 game people like, and it's a lot more memorable from what I heard. Not to mention a recent
sequel to an already somewhat niche game isn't going to do much in comparison to a more standard (still nicheish) tactics game that's got a good few years on it.
I mean, MK2 was released when the PS2 was heading to its grave, wasn't it?
