Not that matters, 6 extra forum posts wouldn't factor into their decision to localize this.

I'm a bit upset about you saying that all these people are just one person. I believe that you have underestimated the amount of otome gamers inside this world. Word got around that this may have a chance of being localized, so people are showing their support for it.
I can absolutely assure you that I am a living human being with their own life who only made just one account in order to show my support for the localization. But whether you believe me or not is up to you.
I have subscribed to this thread. I really care a lot for this game. In fact, I already brought a PSP for this. Don't fail me now Atelier Elkrone!

I think you took it a bit to serious.

Also the idea of fraud is -always- relevant on the internet; It's the internet.

Quite a few blogs have been posted in this topic showing places where some of the posters found out about this game, which I believe has happened the Umineko topic as well (many new users supporting the game).
As for me, I still support this game getting localized even if the game was only available as a download.

You have no way of proving you aren't the same guy who may or may not have created all those new accounts, who just re-logged onto one for a second time to say that.

My suspicion is valid.

I won't go out of my way to prove anything, but I could mention that I use my username for a great deal of things. Namely my deviantart~ It'll be strange that I didn't choose this username as my very first one. Also, I wrote a bit more than the new accounts made. It's not large evidence, but it's something.
Like I said, whether you believe me or not is up to you though. But there are many people who spread this forum to others. I got here from englishotomegames tumblr, which has around 2000 followers. Many people are constantly on the lookout for these games, and a quick search on google may lead them here.

Don't mind Zeke, he's a bit of a goon.

Welcome to the forums! It's nice to see people coming out in support of this game and otome games in general. Please continue to support otome games in any way you can. I think right now they're still far too niche for most western publishers to consider, but if you guys keep at it that could change someday ^^

Thank you so much! It feels nice to be welcomed. ///
I agree that for most people, otome games do sound really shallow, but the concept is kind of similar as to why people read shojou. Not for the fact that you're supposed to get a boy, but for the romantic development between the heroine and the guy you're going after. But there are much more genres than the usual fluffiness of romance which bring it appeal up even more. Most of the time, it's much more than just trying to get a guy. I believe that there have been much more otome games with chances of become translated now, so I think that it'll take a long time, but eventually many more of these games will be brought to the US!

I'm not a fan of otome games, but I would not argue that they're shallow. They're just not my thing. I hope you do get what you want. it's always nice when people can get the games they love ~

But, realize, that only so many things can be localized at a time. And every time a title is chosen for localzation, another title is left in the dust. So, while I do hope you can have this dream realized, I cannot support it. Because I need to support the games I love that I want to see come over.

So, we're kinda like rivals, but the friendly kind !

Not sure if that made any sense

Best of luck to you and everyone who wants this!

Well of course! You're fans of games you like, just as we are. :D I sincerely hope that you get what you wished to be localized as well. And it do make sense. People could be rivals while supporting each other at the same time, right?
I hope that it all work out well and we both get the games we desire!~

I support this, even though NISA won't do it.

I really want to know how Hakuouki did for Akysys though (and I still need to get it.)

I don't know how accurate vgcharts.com is, but if it's anything to go by, it's actually done better than I expected.

At this point, I'd settle for a download only option. I'm usually a stickler for physical copies, but seeing as the PSP is on its deathbed, I know that a physical release probably won't happen for something like this.

I love otome and Atelier games so I'd love to see it brought over. I heard Hakuouki did really good. I picked it up and enjoyed it! Hopefully Aksys will release more visual novels and spark some more interest in them.

I'm just very cynical.
