I would love to play this game; it would be lovely to play as my own gender, for once! Hopefully NISA decides to bring it stateside! Though before I say that, I suppose it would be nice to have more information... =)

Umm...the entire Atelier series has you playing as a female, except the Iris and Al Revis games. This includes the recent Atlelier Rorona, and soon to be localized Atelier Totori.

Whoops, I guess I should have clarified that a bit- I meant bishoujo games that are available in English that aren't terribly hard to find, heh. I'm also catching up on the Atelier series, so I haven't had a chance to play as a female in many of them!

In my opinion, from the moment I laid my eyes on this, I figured it was just another Idea Factory Visual Novel, but with Atelier label on it. Idea Factory releases at least 5 totally unattractive VNs per year and that doesn't make any difference, maybe that's why they went after Gust and their established franchise.

The more I look at the images, the more I realize why the art is not as amazing as what we see on Meruru/Totori/Etc...this is definitely IF art. I can't see this as being from Kishida Mel most indefinitely, and it reminds me a lot of other IF games.

Well to me, the art looks just like Idea Factory's other otome games like Hakuoki Junsouroku and Hiiro no Kakera Aizouban ~Akaneioro no Tsuioku~ which were both released on PS3.

Gust and Idea Factory are big PS3 supporters. I wouldn't be surprised if that's where it lands.

While it may not be surprising if it does, but don't fully count on it though. Have to remember that almost if not all Atelier games that were not a main series game, kind of like Atelier Annie for instance have only been on portable systems.

NISA does a lot of Gust's games. Less from Idea Factory (apparently, Iffy makes too many for NISA to bring them all over), but since Gust is involved with this one, and it's an Atelier game, I'd give pretty good odds that we'll get it. A bigger concern is Sony... XD;
