Man, girl, you're hilarious. Stay in your little thread of mad in the feedback forum, please.

Or post wherever you want, since this forum is for all our fans, even the ones who don't agree with everyone else.

It's still pretty funny though, the way she contradicts herself.

How am I contradicting myself.... The Rhapsody games have no Moe/Lolicon whatsoever. Sure the character designs are a bit Moe looking but they never sexualize the characters. (Except for Marjorly but that's different since she's obviously a grown adult woman)

The Puppet Princess series in particular is aimed at little girls in Japan so there's not much degrading going on in the series. (Hell Cornet rescues the Prince instead of the other way around)

Also @ Houk: You're one of the mods right... Does that mean you work for NISA... If so could you please please bring over the sequels to Rhapsody to America, pretty please with a cherry on top^^
Bring less Moe and more traditional Classic JRPGs to the U.S.

Moe doesn't mean 'sexual', you're mixing up words here.

Moe can be sexual, but so can 'cute', and 'handsome'. So there's no point in saying that. Moe is basically just being cute pretty much.

Or are you going to say this :

is sexual?

yeah Houk works for NISA. he's even one of their script editors. but he doesn't have the power to decide what they localize, that's decided by the higher ups.

i would love to see NISA localize these games because they're very interesting games and they obviously appeal to a different demographic (and what company doesn't want to expand their fanbase?) however, like others have said, PS2 and PSP are virtually dead in the US so if we ever want to see these games localized they'll probably have to be ported to PS3 or Vita. And even then there's no guarantee NISA will localize them. i'm pretty sure they lost money on Rhapsody DS.

I hate to say this, but I think part Rhapsody DS's unpopularity is NISA's fault. I don't know what happened in their studio during that time, but a major thing was advertising the extra content, then players discover that they cut the extra content out. Not to mention some other things that weren't right.

If it came out the same time as Ar Tonelico 2, I wonder if the same team handled it...

While regrettable, this did not play a significant role in the overall sales numbers.

Heh, I probably would've bought the DS game, were it not that I already have the ps1 version >.>; and Little princess too ( which btw does NOT play well on a ps2, keeps freezing ). As for Cornet saving the prince, in all fairness, the prince did save her from a dragon first ( which is like some kind of freaky tradition in her family ).
That said, Little Princess especially is very nice, Angel's present slightly less, as they're separate stories and not one big whole, but it does give you a lot of interesting backstory, especially about Cherie and also Marjoly

I would go and buy all the PS Little Princess games off the Japanese PSN, but: I don't have the money nor the currency converter. And it would take all the fun out of having a game that I can fully read. (although I can still read, write and speak Japanese a little bit)

I'm all for an American Little Princess 2 game outside of Japan!

I know it's a long shot, but I still wanted to say that I would like to see this game translated and brought over to the US as well. Rhapsody was one of the first playstation games I ever owned and it's a favorite game of mine ever since I was a kid. I really wish I could play the sequel. c:

I would love to see the trilogy(?) get PSN'd. I don't think even Rhapsody is on PSN; it ought to be.

Although the chances of it happening are very, very slim because NISA probably would want to dub it, and that's a lot of voicework to do for an old game. I'd be fine with subs only though, just as long as Rhapsody remains dual-audio -- it's extra cheesy in English and I like it.

I so hope some how Rhapsody can come out on PSN. You would not think it would be that hard to bring to PSN. But maybe licensing issues could be the problem it is not up yet. Also as for this game I would even be fine to download this game on PSN if it was just to give you the names of the items & where to go. Yes I would prefer to know the story. But if it costs a lot less money to translate the text without everything in the game I would be happy to at least be able to play the game. Then not be able to play it at all because of costing to much because of having to translate everything.

seriously, i wish more companies would follow MoneyPaw's lead and release import games on PSN. i don't care if they're not translated, just provide online instructions like MoneyPaw does and it's good enough.

as far as i know, no sales information has been released. a lot of websites have been spreading the word, i think the last two import games they released got the most coverage yet. no idea how successful they've been, though.
