Yeah, I'm the same way for most things. I opened up my first print Xbox 360 version of iDOLM@STER 2 even though I can't play it. And now I'll be ordering the PS3 version that I will actually get to play :D

That's amazing ~

I'm glad you actually get to play a game you purchased finally. I can imagine it would be worse having a 360, but STILL not being able to play the games all because of Region lock

Well if NISA was able to grab Ar Tonelico Qoga from Bamco I don't see why they won't be able to get this.

Just get the complete version with the gravure mini-game, get that Mature rating, get slammed by all the western review sites, then sell truckloads like Neptunia.

Having NISA getting Ar tonelico Qoga was actually pretty obvious. Besides Namco has so little control over Ar tonelico III. It's the Banpresto team publishers of Namco with being developed by Gust with America already receiving the 1st 2 games. You can say Namco had the small piece of the pie for Ar tonelico III. While Banpresto and Gust get the bigger slices.

So if Gust is ok with having a game they developed getting localized, Namco can't object.

Idolm@ster is 100% Namco. So will be harder to localize, but I think it would be worth NISA's time and money to localizing it regardless.

I definitely agree. While I won't be buying the LE or anything of the localized version if it happens, I will still most definitely buy it~

I'd buy a localized limited edition if it came with the Gravure game. :D
It's not like that kind of game hasn't been released here before.

Yeah, I think including the gravure game would be more than enough incentive for an LE. I don't expect all the other stuff that Japan's LE has.

I wonder, if this ever were to get localized, would they still call it Idolmaster "2"?

"The Idolmaster ~I Want To Be A Pop Star!~"

although "Idolmaster" sounds kind of weird to English-speaking people, so maybe they'd change it to something like "SuperStar: Pop Diva Simulator"

They could pull a Ar tonelico 3/Qoga again.
I'd like to add my support for this game as well, even though because the game has the actual voice actresses/actors singing I believe the game would be with out a dub.

They could do dual-audio. And it wouldn't be that awkward to hear them speak in English, and then sing in Japanese. I'm pretty sure it's been done before.

Ar Tonelico. Sorta. That's it, really. If you're thinking JRPGs' OPs or EDs, those aren't usually sung by the characters.
