Yeah, it should be exactly the same. Just lower priced and in a yellow label box.

AFAIK, there is no GOTY edition and there probably never will be.

Apparently (and I wouldn't know since I haven't opened them yet) the Best versions of the PSP games came with DLC codes. You may see that in the Best version of iM@S2, but that would be the only difference. It'll be the exact same game.

I'm crossing my fingers if that is the case.
Read through the previous posts regarding the topic: Is it that much of an embarrassment to get the Best versions instead of the original?

No, I was mostly joking about that stuff. If you want to save a bunch of money and aren't one of those "black label" snobs, go crazy

I've got maxed out base stats. The best talisman for the job (well, out of the ones i bought). Tried different songs. Maxed out hearts. And STILL

I CANNOT FREAKIN WIN!

There's NOTHING I can do to make this work....

Looping won't achieve anything anymore. I'm not getting any money from this. I can't spend any money on anything. I can't change my song selection.

I am stuck 100%

I really don't think it's possible for me to win. And the worst thing is that the game will NEVER end until I do.

Namco should have programmed this better.

I don't know how you're having so much trouble. Maxed stats and a talisman is serious overkill for anything, even in Hyper. You should never need that much.

Their bar raises like crazy. They have 3 memories or whatever it's called. And I just can't seem to win. I've tried and tried and tried. I fear that i set myself in an infinite loop. Possibly because of my choice of Idols (apparently they don't work well together) choice of songs, and of course shopping choices. There's just no way to beat them...
Short of somehow anticipating exactly when they'll make their appeal bursts or whatever they're called. That's the only way. I've even gotten a perfect (though that was when I only had four hearts) and STILL LOST.

I didn't even know you could max base stats. Does the level cap go higher than 16? That's odd though, if you have that much stats, a full Danketsu circle (and glowing), and 5 Memory Appeals, that should be more than enough to win.

The only real suggestion I can think of at this point, is to keep that file, but also start a new one in another slot. Use your new file to buy Amulets/outfits, and when you have whatever you need, then go back to your old file to commence Jupiter beat-down (the gear should now be in your old file, since it shares the system file). Producing two units at once can be a pretty useful strategy, if you're good at managing the funds. Helps at moments like this especially.

you're a tad confused, Of course I've only got them at level 16. That's what 'maxed base stats' means. Those are the highest the base stats can go. Anything beyond that would just be maxed stats.

Anyway, I did not know that. That may be my only hope really. I need the amulet that makes it so you can't get affected by their bursts. That's the only way I'lll win probably. Of course, buying better clothes would be helpful too.

Thank you, this may just save me. Because I really am stuck where I am currently. And yeah, I have a full Danketsu circle that's glowing, along with 5 memory appeals as well. I have no clue why they're being this hard.

Oh, I thought you meant the bars were maxed completely. Yeah, I was confused.

Anywho, good luck with that prepping. The Jupiter beat-down will be the most satisfying feeling. ;)

Oh, yeah, you confused me, too.

But you're confused on some things yourself. Your unit combination doesn't mean anything except what your (paltry) base stats are. They don't have any compatibility.

If you've done any resets/hell training on that record, then just keep doing it. You may as well run it into the ground since it's impossible to get a perfect producer evaluation if you do it even once.

If you're not using one of the voltage boost amulets, use those. The one from the capital area special festival is the better of the two, honestly.

Either way, I still think you're not doing something right. Capped stats and a good amulet is, like I said, more than enough for anything, even in Hyper. Well, anything except maybe VESPERIA. That festival is evil. Are you on your second loop or higher? If so, you should have better gear. If not, what difficulty are you playing on? Certainly not Hyper on your first. If you are, just put that record aside. If you don't have good outfits and accessories, you'll never beat Hyper.

I already said

I'm on Hyper >>

Anyway, I'm taking the advice of Awe and hopefuly it will save me.
