Madoka - Sounds like Totori but lighter. And not quite as cute. I think she's suffered the most.

Sayaka - She sounds weird. Maybe it's just because she's teasing, but...

Mami - Sounds nice, I think one of the better ones so far. I was thinking she'd sound mature but light, though, something you'd hear "Oh my, oh my" from.

KyuBAY - Can the VA make him sound both cute and creepy? We'll find out.

Kyoko - Another of the better ones, has the attitude that I expect from her.

Homura - Christina Vee attempting a mysterious/cool archetype. I think it's okay.


Now the problem I have with this dub is the way they pronounce Madoka's name. They say Mah-da-kuh, with strong emphasis on Mah, instead of Ma-doh-kuh. Is the former the true pronounciation? If so, I don't think I can get used to it.

Who knows, my only issue is how Kyubey sounds a lot like Gust from Hyperdimension Neptunia. I know it is the same actor, but I can now never look at Gust the same way again, and she is so much better than Kyubey.

I have a somewhat different opinion on the dub voices now that I've seen the trailer a few times, but I'm too lazy to type it out on a rarely-posted thread. I'll just say it could be better and we won't know the true quality until Episode 3.

The "Secret Project" is confirmed to be Puella Magi Madoka Magica Online. It's a browser-game, so I do not expect much of it (It could be capable, like Minecraft, though). The witch form of Mami is called "Candeloro" or something similar. She will debut in the PSP game (of course, there are ways to avoid this very difficult battle). She has familiars that look similar to Madoka and Kyouko. Mami is confirmed hard-gay for Madoka and Kyouko.

That browser MMO is cool n' all, and that PSP game sounds interesting. But personally, I am hoping Puella Magi Kazumi Magica will be greenlit for an anime adaptation.

Oh and to hear more about the Madoka movies, there were four that they announced if I remember correctly... that's a lot. Lol
