I liked Yukito, but I was never watching the show for just Yukito, so I can see why you wouldn't like it much after that.

Spoiler:
I didn't just watch the show for Yukito. Not saying the other characters are bad.He was my fav though from episode 1 when he was "like a leaf". Thats one of the few things I remember from it. I'm sure you remember that scene.

The 2nd Kimi no Iru Machi OVA ends with so many smiles of irony...

Spoiler:
The final lines, "I'm sure we'll be all right, our love has just begun!", is immediately followed by "And then she blocked me on her cellphone and I wasn't able to get in contact with her again."

Oh, yeah :D

Spoiler:
No I knew you weren't. But Yukito wasn't my favorite either. I'd have to say I cared far more about the story itself than the characters in it. I just wanted to know what was going on. And then I found out. And then there were tears ;_;

This is very true.

But Kanon (2006) is also my favorite Key adaptation so far.

Seriously, Air was awful.

Spoiler:
You were slow then. I realized how it's going to end in either ep 8 or 9. So I was watching the rest and I was like "Ok I know how it's going to end, so just let her die and we're done with it". And as we know that took about 4 episodes.

Which is exactly why I'm glad I read the manga...though even then, I'm just reading it because it isn't easy for me to drop a series...Seo Kouji can be hit/miss

I really like KNIM, it's way more palatable than Suzuka was. Yes, there are still some table-flipping moments, but it's overall a milder and more relatable story than Suzuka. Following the reactionary user outrage as the chapters were coming out was quite amusing, though ;)

Spoiler:
It was actually really good until what's-his-face died, IMO. Having that "friends and rivals" dynamic and a real male foil for Haruto was good. Yuzuki telling him "Let's not meet again" was stupid and pointless.

Spoiler:
Yup, that;s what bugged me, also, the drama there just to add drama seemed pointless, I like it much better now that it went back to being a comedy...from what I've seen, the OVA's don't do it justice

I'm just glad that it isn't as bland as Shizuka was...

The OVAs were bundled with the tanks, right? I think they were meant more as a service to established fans rather than a branch out into a new media format. They do a pretty good job of summarizing all the important plot points up until the "present" in the OVA, which is the Tokyo field trip after Yuzuki moves out. The recap is fragmented memory style, which I thought worked very well, but it does make the OVA more of a commercial to read the manga, unless they do plan on making a full anime adaptation

So I actually haven't watched much anime in the last year or so, outside of the Im@s blurays that came with all my G4U releases, so I'm at a loss for what to watch. So in between my slow progression of Im@s (the art still bothers me no matter how much I watch it... I think I'm spoiled by Kubooka's work.), I popped in the Working!! DVDs and started watching 'em again. I might give Perfect Blue another watch again too, since it's been ages since I saw it.

Episode 47 of Hayate no Gotoku was pretty good, maybe I can finish it within the next week, well the first season anyway.

Luckily, S2 goes for quality, over quantity...hopefully the 3rd goes for the same method, as much as I wanna see the season go on for a while

Psh, I want both! There should be enough content to do 50 episodes all from the manga.

lol, I went to Wikipedia to browse the chapter list and see where they stopped adapting the anime from the manga... then remembered that the chapter titles are 99% useless for determining the plot of the chapter >_>
