That would be great. I believe I have those first 2 sitting around, never did read them tho. Would be nice if the rest came too.

No problem!
When it comes to Shakugan no Shana, I am much more knowledgeable about the story than any other anime. Save for To Aru Majutsu no Index and Yumekui Merry, I am addicted to those too just as much as Shana.

I am hoping the author decided to stay 100% true to the story, since there's A LOT they have to cover.

I want to find the second volume, I've looked around everywhere but I never see it.
However they are still releasing the Manga, as I bought the most recent volume earlier this year.

I might go and check what arc that is at, as I kind of ignored it. Lol

So you would recommend the manga, if that's the next best option? Unfortunately, they're only at the Lamies arc, and no new English tanks have been released in over a year.

It's the next best option, but it's slightly watered down.
However, it does indeed follow the novels, so yeah... it's the next best option.

And I see, I thought it was somewhere around that. I might have been getting fan translations mixed up with official releases. I am a little scatterbrained right now, I'll do some research and see if anyone has bothered to release the next novels. Or give any information of possible releases.

I do know Funimation has rights to Season II, the Movie, S, and Season III now. So maybe we'll see something on that front soon?

Singer Mami Kawada confirmed on Sunday that she is performing the new opening theme song "serment" for the Shakugan no Shana III (Final) television anime series. ("Serment" is the French word for "oath.") The single will go on sale on February 1. Kawada had performed theme songs for the first two Shakugan no Shana television series and related projects.

Squeeeeeeeeeee!

Mami is back! Expected it, but still, it wouldn't be a season of Shana without Mami Kawada doing an opening theme!

Looks like ALTIMA will be doing the second ED theme as well... that was unexpected, since KOTOKO normally does, but I guess change is always good.

Finally! Episode, ten, the one I had been waiting for!
It's right on cue too, so that's even better ~

Two more eps for this arc, and then we will get to the midpoint, and then the real action picks up. But if shit got real last time, it was flung at the fan this episode!

Spoiler:
Shana defining who the Enpatsu Shakugan no Uchite really is, then saying it's herself, and utterly RAPING that Guze No Tomogara. JUST YES.

True Crimson!
Soaring Flame!
JUDGEMENT!
CONVICTION!

All four of those release parts of Alastor, she pretty much is using a light form of 'Tenpa Jousai', where she releases his entire being. True Crimson is his arms, Soaring Flame is his wings, Judgement is his eye(s), and Conviction is a miniature Tenpa Jousai. Alastor leaves her body for a split second, when she uses it ~<3

This was BY FAR, the BEST episode in the series, EVER.

Best scene this episode! JUST WOW

Shinku! Hien! Shinban!
DANZAI!

This episode was amazing.

I meant to watch this when I woke up, but totally forgot and watched Mashoiroiro Symphony instead...

Now I have to go to work. Will have to watch when I get home, no doubt.

Hope you enjoy it!
Then again, who the hell wouldn't!?

It's the best episode i have seen in the series, put the last episode to shame, I love it ~<3

Home now, watched it.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say it put the last one to shame, but it certainly was even better. Can't wait to see Shana really let loose now.

But yeah, that scene there - that does indeed blow anything else in the series thus far out of the water.

*Recalls the Conservation of Ninjutsu* This could be trouble... but I am interested in seeing the named characters finally *do* something. Especially Sophie.

If I remember correctly, Sophie acts as a trump card until a bit later on. However, she will do "something" later on. If memory serves, this is the midpoint, which also happens to be the start of the war between the Bal Masque and Flame Haze, which was also stated a few episodes back.

Don't quote me on that though, since my memory is a little hazy.

It's not exactly a spoiler, since her actions give this away.

I am only going by what is happening in the anime, since it is deviating a bit, and leaving out a few minor details. I'm not exactly sure if she will or not hence "If I remember correctly", when it comes to anime I don't remember much at all anymore.

I never say direct spoilers unless in a spoiler tag; as I know the basis of the whole plot this season, I would only say something like that if it's not signifigcantly important to the plot.

But since you looked at that post like they were spoiler, then I am sorry about that. I'll edit it with a spoiler tag, and only discuss the plot in spoiler tags from now on.

Edit: For lack of a better term, I used "Flame Haze War" to reference the fight between the Tomogara and flame haze, as the Flame Haze are the ones who have instigated it. I don't particularly like to think the Bal Masque 'wanted' a war to break out, but the Flame Haze, as always have decided to come up against them.

Being ready to fight =/= starting a fight

Spoiler:
That means there is no revolt or dissension among the Flame Haze's ranks... as far as I know, that is.

If anyone wants to come up with a better term for the current 'war', so there will be no confusion in referring to it, please do so and I will use it instead, from this point onward.

And towards something not being important to the plot, I was referring to Sophie. Since the plot generally revolves around Shana and Yuji, I don't see her having a HUGE part for the majority of the show.

But from now on I will just comment on each individual episode instead of pointlessly explaining things, I'll let the story do that instead.

Just watched episode ten, it was great ~
Spoiler:
First and foremost... Keisaku and Margery had sex, no I am not trolling, they literally had sex.
Sophie did 'something', which I wasn't expecting, but it was EPIC. Decarabia also did something as well, and it was epic.

Next episode marks the beginning of the EPIC fights that are in this season!

What's first?
Sabrac of course!

Can't wait for the next episode, seriously, just can't ~

So I'm only 1 minute into the episode and I'm already confused (about something unimportant)
Spoiler:
Last ep the assault begins in a dry, almost desert-looking place. They built the little fort out of sand and rock anyway. And now all of a sudden there's a blizzard? lol

Chalk it up to Flame Haze and/or Tomogara powers I suppose.

Think this is gonna turn in to a running commentary as I watch.
Spoiler:
Sophia makes it seem just as important that Shana is gone as the Trinity.

Keisaku is the man. Finally got through to his stone hard woman.

Decarabia fights, sure doesn't last long Sophia is apparently a badass, but funny looking on the attack.

And up next: Sabrac... again. Thought he died in S2? I'm guessing that would be another JC Staff failure.

THUNDER NUN DROP KIIIIIIIICK!!!

They've got enough unagi to fuel this siege for years now.

Gotta say, if the slow start and all the setup leads to consecutive doses of epic, I can accept that.
