I rarely watch opening/ending credits unless I already know the source material (e.g. Persona 4), and I always skip previews, because of spoiler issues I've had with other shows in the past. It makes sense when you flip through channels on TV since they want you to be interested enough to "tune in next week!", but nowadays I know that I'm going to finish out a whole anime series, so I don't need to take the risk that something gets spoiled :3

I'unno. I think it depends on the subject. Personally, I think the forum was right to criticize the guy who writes the gaming column when he dismissed Katawa Shoujo as a creepy, fetish-pandering game before playing it (since, y'know, it's not). So I wouldn't say they're always wrong.

I don't watch the previews though. I really don't care to know what's going to happen next. Like someone else said, I know I'm watching the next episode, I don't need a preview to convince me of that.
