Story:
This series revolves around many samurai who are accidentally removed from a parallel universe inhabited by well-known historic characters. Unlike the historical war period known to us, all inhabitants in this unique world look like high school girls. Coming from the medieval era and finding themselves totally amazed by everything they encounter in modern day Tokyo, the girls become best friends through their adventures.

Definitely gonna watch this one ~

All-girl Ikkitousen or present-day Koihime Musou? The link makes it sound like the main characters are time-displaced "samurai girls," but the paraphrased summary makes it sound like, more or less, Ikkitousen... or am I just missing something? :X

Misplaced Samurai girls. Think...like that one show where that young girl got whisked into a world where only women existed, except in inverse. Although I don't think there's a character that they get whisked to.

does that explain things a little better?

So like Girls Bravo, but with samurai girls (girl-versions of well-known samurai, or just samurai who happen to be both famous and female?)?

EDIT: It just occurred to me that you were probably referring to Girls Bravo in the first place, lol. Somehow I went from "vamp said something, it sounds like Girls Bravo but nah, that's probably not it. Hey, this situation sounds kind of like Girls Bravo! Let's post that."

Well then! Haven't heard of that one either. Girls Bravo is pretty close too, anyway, boy falls through bathtub to a world of only girls, somehow ends up taking one of the girls back with him, hijinks and harem ensue. (I stopped watching after like 5 episodes, way too generic and unimpressive production.)

Well, in this one (Sengoku Otome), girl falls through a portal to a different world and a different time. She actually spends her time in this other world, and it never really is a 'harem', but there are couplings throughout. There's plot and other things, nothing super serious, but I'd say decentish. And I found it pretty enjoyable. Just, don't watch if you dislike yuri.

I am a bit confused, because there was another 'sengoku collection' advertised for Spring, which had a completely different artstyle and a different story, and just seemed completely different.

I wonder if they ended up changing it or somelthing?

Very confusing indeed.

Well, tomorrow we'll know what's up.

So the original description was correct. Ah well. As long as it doesn't turn into some super harem, it should be good. Catgirl = will continue watching ~

Not sure what I was expecting, but it was kind of a fun pilot. I'll probably watch the rest for shits. The animation is less than amazing, though.

If it wasn't for the trio, I'm not sure I would continue watching this.

This entire review reads like sarcasm, but I think he's actually just really that enthralled by this show O_o

I mean, good for him if he likes it, I guess. I'm just still trying to figure out if it's an elaborate trick and he actually thinks it's horrible or something >.>

Pretty much this, though I wasn't expecting to much overall from it.

The fanservice was pretty 'low level'd' and the entire thing was kinda generic from the meeting to the end.

I'll keep watching but to be honest, I don't know if I'll finish the series.

I wonder if they will bring one of the characters to a museum at some point, or even show one of them reading a history book (or going online) to find out what happened in Japan between their day and the present.

Also, I noticed that while they show both Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu, they seem to have skipped over Toyotomi Hideyoshi for the time being. I wonder if that was intentional?
