If you have something to say that doesn't quite belong in a thread or if you want to discuss something that's not really worth making a thread over, post it here!

So, is the DLC in Neptunia worth getting? they look super-duper nice.
But with the sequels out, it kinda makes them seem pointless

They're almost necessary to get the full experience, but not all of them. The Maker (human) characters are quite enjoyable (why are they DLC? They're great!), so if you won't get the level caps or the extra dungeons, at the very least, by the Makers.

I don't know about HDN, but aren't the dlc dungeons always free ?

I believe they were but since I removed the entire gameplay aspect from my memory I can't be sure.

Actually... they were free in NISA's version, what I've heard from those who imported the first game.... they weren't in Japanese.

Actually, the dungeons for HDN 1 were also free in the JP version, which may also have to do with the fact that some of them are actually required to platinum the JP version (yes, seriously).

I'm having trouble fighting this lady (don't know her name appears as ???) She looks like a witch and has paleish skin.

I can't be underleveled because I've done every dungeon mission that I can.
maybe I just suck or I have to grind a bit more.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say the fight takes place in Lowee. Don't worry, I had the same problem. Yeah, you're gonna have to grind a bit more. Sorry.

Or you can cheat and get the uber weapons early from the DLC dungeons. Save after every few steps because getting into an encounter WILL kill you.

Also, did Gust make any references to Uni's name in the games? Uni is also an item used in the Atelier series, looks like

1. I remember doing that trick in both the US and JP versions of the game for both weapons and armor. It makes the random encounters a breeze and the boss battles much more bearable.

2. Not in mk2. I can't say for V because I don't even have it yet, let alone have the knowledge of Japanese necessary to find out something like that.

I see. Well I hope there will be some reference in V at least, unless the JP names for both are different? Not sure how much of a role the candidates play, if any. I still wonder what Uni's name is supposed to reference, since she's supposed to be the PSP. Can't really connect any dots at the moment.

Uni's name is a reference to UMD.
