I'm fine with it depending on what exactly is changed and for what reason.
Sometimes I hear someone say why did they change this sentence, why didnt they leave it as its original translation, which is then followed by one of the most drab, lifeless and dull-as-dirt sentences known to man.
So lifeless that you would think a zombie wrote it. That IMO warrants at least a look.
They should keep it pretty close to the original meaning and try not to muddle too much with it, but they can completely warp a sentence here and there for me every now and then. :D

Personally, I like Nick's localizations. I enjoyed all of the PS3 games because of what they were after localization, not for what they were in Japanese. I know that people have different tastes, and some might have preferred more/fewer/no changes to the script, but I tend to judge games only by how much fun I had... and I had a lot of fun.
Which is a shortsighted line of logic that, while perfectly fair for the individual, adds absolutely nothing to a conversation about localization or the quality thereof for more than one's self, since it doesn't speak at all to whether or not you would have liked alternatives, just that you liked those things, so therefore they were fine.

Also, Rednal seems to be implying that she would hate it if it were too close to the original. Which in turn, is a contradiction to be a "fan" of said series in the first place.

Does this Nick Doerr guy have an online alias? Was he Lyner?

He said so in his PP topic when he was advertising Mr. Tired.

Except coming out of Rednal, this sounds like moo-moo manure.

Really, her view is fair for an individual, but terrible for a conversation. "My NISA, Right Or Wrong"

...May I suggest reading what I actually said before making comments about it? I want the most enjoyable game - and if I think that the company did something to make a game less enjoyable*, then yes, I'm going to object to it. I don't believe in them 'right or wrong' - and I'm happy to call them out on something if I feel they actually messed up, because I want those things to be fixed.

*In case it wasn't sufficiently obvious, "less enjoyable" is my main criteria for doing a game "wrong".

"My Nisa always right" is more accurate.

Anime collaboration set (Gehaburn + Nepgeardam) (free)
Believe in pippin set (pippin -> weapon for Nepgear + Afro) (free)

everything that is not free costs 1€ here in Germany.
I never intend to rant, insult anyone or anything like that. I just want to express my oppinion, and if I appeared so, sorry in advance.
Also if I am capsing, I either accidentially hit caps or I am too lazy for using bold bbcode (especially on phone)

well I'd take the free packs anyway and maybe the Beam zapper for being the strongest weapon with more range than just the small square.

the emergency pack helps a lot especially with Stella, since it gibes her a speed boost and you cannot lose any equipment.
and you get the SUPER Exp Up

but with just 5 1€/$ DLC packs it's hard to say no. which is the reason why I have all DLCs in all rebirth games.

The Stella stuff is important for your sanity if you're aiming for a platinum, but not at all required otherwise.

The rest of it is... eh. Depends on if you care about overpowering yourself or not. Because you will. Even with some of the free stuff.
I never got my avatars.
Still holding my breath for the other Marl Kingdom games.
