Every Goddess/Sister will lose 15 SP per turn while transformed, if it reaches 0 they transform back. They probably did that so that they aren't OP like they were in the first one. They overdid it a bit though imo.

On the other hand, in the first game there was absolutely no reason to not transform...

The main issue mainly is with skills. You can start a battle with up to 100 SP, and if you transform immediately that means at least six turns - and combos can increase that easily (you can outpace the 15 SP decrease per turn without much trouble). But using skills eats up SP and will reduce the amount of turns you get transformed. So you have to be careful to not waste SP with skills if you want to stay transformed and only use them when needed or when you raised SP high enough.

It's exactly as you said sik, that's the reason you'll barely use any skills at all during the game.

Yeah, I really only used skills with the CPUs/Candidates to clear enemies when doing small grinds...and sometimes to finish off bosses...though with 5pb I always used skills when I got the chance heh

Variety is the spice of life, I use skills a good amount, I feel it'd get boring otherwise.

Yeah her skills are quite useful, especially the one the paralyzes enemies. Makes battles against regular enemies so much easier.

Ive recently got to lean ox for the first time, but so far transforming on nepgear doesnt seem very useful. I do it anyway during most bosses mostly for cosmetic reasons but statistically it just doesnt see
Worth it. Contrary to what the tutorial says, the stat increase is not particularly impressive. For example her hits will go from 550 to 700 or so. Given that transforming costs 100sp immediately + 15 a turn (seems more actually, like if you standby you lose 15, making that 25), you can use the extra sp to stay in normal form and use skill. Her mirage thing costs just 50 and dishes out more damage than like 3 of her full exfinisher combos.

Plus she has that other skill that does 1000(!) break damage. But yeah i just transform anyway cuz i like looking purdy =p.

Say, is there anywhere i can see scans of the artbook somewhere? Not just choice shots but all of it? Im not asking anybody to tear up your book and scan it (please dont actually), but I wouldnt mind seeing it if available.

I actually got a kick out of using her

so much that I only started using her transformations during the final few bosses just to increase hers, and Noire's survivability...then again, the gains for the CPUs seem to be higher than the Candidate's...

5pb and Noire were the staples of my end game party though, and I rushed, so I'll probably use them again next playthrough...I think my favorite characters, in terms of gameplay at least became those two :lol:

I think that's one of my many reasons I happen to enjoy the Neptunia series, was the fact that their transforms look awesome and sexy. I was a bit disappointed to hear you couldn't stay in HDD form permanently, but at the cost of the initial and each turn, which doesn't seem all that bad either. So I'll deal with it.

I did get a kick out of transforming as Nepgear for a while though, since I put the BRS skin on her...it just seemed so out of place

Which is probably why she will get the boot, just like Red...Gust was never my favorite character, but I'd hate to see another character get taken out of the main cast due to a buy out
