I agree with Nep's personality changing, as does everyone, but I can't help but wonder wtf is up with that chirper scene where Neptune transforms to meet the "you must be this tall" ride requirements, then compa/iffy catch her still wanting to be on the ride after transforming.

Honestly it looks more to me like she's just outright insane in HDD form and dangerous against all sides, not just plain evil.

this^ but anyways things are 50/50 imo can't just go assume just from what they look like and besides there are gameplay footages of her being in the party. (dont judge a book by its cover)

Mk2 was just as funny as HDN Orig

I liked Mk2's op more than HDN Orig, and I quite liked the little I heard of V's.

It's not pure "just sounds older." She's CLEARLY not as aloof and goofy in HDD state. And her speech changes. How many times have you heard Purple Heart say "awesome sauce"?
