I like the premise, magical transforming girls who represent video game consoles, and their adventures and pitfalls which are metaphors for real-life game industry happenings. I like the characters, especially Neptune. I find her laid back loud-mouthed personality quite fun. I like the cel shaded anime style graphics and design. I like that all of the games pay homage to classic video games. I like that the series is developed by a comparatively small, modest company.

There is so much about this franchise that I love. I am sold on Neptunia, and I will always be a loyal fan.

Because the characters.....they are that type you grow attached to them. You feel sympathy for them, no matter what they do, and they are mostly likable. I don't think there's a way to hate the "Neptune"/"Neptunia" series.

(I put "Neptune"/"Neptunia" because, in Japan, this is the "Jigen Game Neptune" series, and in the US and Europe, it's the "Dimension Neptunia" series. Just saying it.)

Pretty much everything mentioned. I really like the setting too, magical snowlands, forests, industrial areas, and sci-fi... The good mind of sci fi too like xenosaga's... Not that grungy dirty post apocalyptic lookin kind tha plagues like 99% of everything sci-fi.

I love the voice acting too in english (not some characters like 5pb though). And i like how unserious it all seems. Its a game, and it feels like a game IN the game even. No hardcore competiton or high stakes anything, just something to wind down and have fun with.
