After hearing about the Vita offering boosted visuals for psp games, I'm not as upset about this possibly getting a psn only release.

Still upset about No Scared though. :(

You'd be surprised how much a music license cost nowadays. I remember reading about an anime series Aniplex wanted to localize a while back and then they balked at the asking price for some band's theme song, which was purported to be 3/5 of the total cost of the anime license itself.

I don't think the artists were soaking them ... I'm pretty sure it's the recording industry that's gotten a bit too greedy...

Do people STILL think that the game's opening is being changed?

It's just not being included in the soundtrack (the one that will be bundled with the possible LE), that's all.

See the other thread. There's no confirmation we'll be able to keep the song in the US version at this point.

Houk already replied but it's not confirmed because the license is for the music by a very well-known JRock band and their recording studio/publisher/distributor/whatever hasn't agreed to a license. Yes, you need a license, even if it's just the opening and not for the soundtrack. I think people around here are to quick to assume things especially about a process that isn't exactly open and transparent...

I'm gonna rage hard if license issues causes the opening to get cut.

You know Japanese or something?

Cause the Euro release won't magically include the opening in the game if the NA release doesn't.

Then why bother to include 'US' in there? why not just say "Another reason to NOT buy this game". You just wanted a reason to bash NISA really.

I certainly hope you're not implying you would pirate the game.

That's definitely not what you're implying, right?

For some reason, with Houk's name being red and what you just said, this is what I pictured:

Badass...

Realization: Houk, Hulk. Sound kinda similar!

Pretty sure alot of people will though for the DD reason alone people just do not see wasteing gb on a small memory card worth a full priced if not more PSP game purchase. People won't want to keep it on there either it'll take up to much space and people are not willing to bend to your full priced download only game with possibly stuff cut out of it sorry.
