There is a chance he was one of the ppl, who hope the LE would be coming to Gamestop/Other US shop or he wasn't sure, that he would have the cash to buy Atelier Meruru.

I'm from France, so it's $30 shipping for a $65 game.
Somebody offered me to buy two copies so we could split the costs, but backed out of it at the last minute.
But I have faith

That is rather unfortunate... International shipping is expensive, pretty much wherever you go. Just be glad NISA does offer it, since many websites cannot ship out of the country.

Even though my PP payment cleared, it still took them a few days to get back to me and let me know my order is processing and paid for. ^^ So don't worry, they will send you an update like they did for me. (Got my email this morning, but order still says pending last I checked... I can't wait to recieve my LE XD)

Just got mine in today! I really like these smaller, but thicker boxes. The big boxes were nice, but awkward to display. Totori I think was an experimental size. But the thing is... now I don`t want to take the tshirt out, seeing how it`s packed in the box, and the box wouldn`t be nice and full... prone to get damaged (like my Agarest War box... it`s large, and once you take everything out, it gets pretty flimsy :p)

Take the shirt/Soundtrack/Artbook(maybe) out and Rorona/Totori LE fit nice and snugly in there with Meruru so that it can be an 'Arland Trilogy Collector's Box'

It's really quite nice to have all the Arland games in one box ~
