Thats a very sad way to look on love

This is a sad thing indeed, however this isn't new. Think back to the middle ages when you couldn't marry outside of your class and the women's family had to give the man's goods. Or what about arranged marriages where it was done not out of love, but what the parents decided to be best for the families from status and money.

Might I propose a strategy, melodious entity?
