Doesn't remind me of X at all, as it's nothing like it to me. I just mostly how it simply shouldn't work on paper. It's more or less half-a-dozen instrument solos put back-to-back.
Although I am now reminded of the one of the best tracks of X-2 now, Eternity: Memory of Lightwaves.
