That is correct. I guess you can obtain dispensation if you say you won't be around for N0 during the signup period, i.e.: now. FYI, I anticipate signups lasting 7 days, so they'll end next Tuesday.

I agree. Spoon is hereby assigned the "Pinch Hitter" role. He sits on the bench, waiting for that call to go under the lights and into the game. Well, not really, as he's voluntarily sitting on the bench, but the analogy doesn't work nearly as well that way.

Just wanted to clarify a few things because I'm that much of a noob

1) How does the mafia decide who to kill? Do all the mafia members send pms to GM with their choice?
2) Is there a way to fake death?
3) Is there only one mafia family?
4) What is the mafia to townie ratio? It's not 1:1, right? Because as I see it, being a mafia is much easier.

2) No, since all deaths are written out by the GM. Unless there might be a special role for this?

4) The ratio is not a strict number, but there will be less mafia than townies when the game starts. A significant amount less actually. I think the last game there were three, and we had 10 players if I'm right.

4) The ratio is not a strict number, but there will be less mafia than townies when the game starts. A significant amount less actually. I think the last game there were three, and we had 10 players if I'm right.

1. I believe the mafia talks amongst themselves, including the GM or not is their choice, and then one person's name is sent in for the final death.
4. I think we had 12 people last time. But so far I believe we have always done 3 mafia members. If we get a lot more people I would assume another 1 or 2 will be added.
