@Bloody
A jailer is a bit different, because the person they protect is unable to perform whatever night actions they may have. Think of it like, they keep the person safely in jail after saving them. Or at least, that's what I think of with Necro's description.

I don't recall his PM's that he listed out saying his role?

Also was phoenix sharing his role with xeras and sj in PMs? Or am I mixing him up with someone else?

Xeras was the one who was rolefishing, yes.

That is a harsh combination. It is a very costly trade-off for protecting the detective.

It might have been a better idea to make the mafia believe that quill would be saved by the doctor, but protect someone else. As they didn't know there was a jailer and not doctor, they did try to hunt the doctor out and Quill would have been able to be safe and search out another target.

I really really don't get how two people were killed... can someone explain? It seems like something that would have to have an event to set it off.

As far as my vote, I am going with who Sj told me was suspicious just in case he was going with reverse psychology, and trying to make his allies look innocent.

Vote Jericho

What I want to know is why there were two night-kills.

Possiblility #1) There are two families of Mafia. Two pairs perhaps.

Possibility #2) There's a different kind of power role running around (like the Serial Killer)

What I find very interesting is Sj's comment about Jericho being visited. He obviously wasn't a watcher, but it might still have held a kernel of truth. Maybe Phoenix chose to protect/jail Jericho, resulting in his kill being blocked. If Sj somehow found this out, he might have revealed it in an attempt to convince Phoenix of the legitimacy of his watcher role.

If there are two families of mafia, does the game still end when the combined mafia is over the amount of innocent people, or does it continue until there is one family left?

If there are multiple Mafia families, to win they would be required to eliminate all other rival families and control 50% of the population. In such a scenario, the town is required to eliminate all members of the Mafia.

So then effectively, at this point there may be two families of mafia running around, without being lylo, because they still have more to do.

So the theory of two families rings true in that case then. Furthermore, it might explain why lynchbait keeps getting killed. I was going to go after Phoenix -_-

Yes, it is possible, but I'm pretty sure that Necro said from the beginning that we didn't have enough people for that. He wanted at least 15 participants before considering it. It is likely a Serial Killer.

Serial Killer - The Serial Killer (often abbreviated as SK), like the Vigilante, may kill another player each Night (by sending their name to the Moderator). However, the Serial Killer is not on the Town's side or the Mafia's side. The Serial Killer wins when everyone else is dead.

So in this case the mafia would need to kill the serial killer, or is his/her death irrelevant. in this case?

Edit

Also The Paranoid Gun Owner, similar to the Army Veteran, involuntarily kills anyone who targets him during the night, regardless of alignment. He can be a liability to the Town for this reason, as he indiscriminately kills Cops, Doctors, etc. He can not choose to kill.

What if Phoenix knew that the mafia would target someone other than quill, so he choose someone else, and they ended up killing him?

Edit 2: But the Phoenix had roleblocking, so would it block the PGO... this is confusing.

Phoenix definitely targeted me. I was roleblocked while trying to investigate.

What you guys don't know is that there is a doctor and a jailer. I am sure he will protect you.
