NISA Mafia Episode VI TOWN WINS

Here will be the sixth episode of NISA mafia, and the theme will be anime. I will be thinking up roles and an intro and stuff.

First though, some stuff I need to go over :
Night Zero will happen again. While it was a lot of kicking stupid stuff around, it got a lot of our initial stupidity out of the way, and made Day 1 actually run much better than usual.

No posting during Night Phases (Night 0 is the one exception to this rule). No PMing as well. Everyone requires their sleep/recharge time. Except the mafia, because they have to figure out who to kill, so they need to stay up a little later.

If you must edit your posts, do NOT take anything away, only add to it. Normally, mafia would be played face to face. We don't have that here. So, deleting stuff you've posted, and editing out stuff you said, is not going to be allowed. Think of it like you can't take back what was said. This is mainly because we all have different playing times, and then that secludes that revelation to only a few people. I, of course, have no way of fully being able to tell whether someone does this, but it will basically be an honor system. Breaking this rule won't result in a GM kill (that's only reserved for people who are there to just disrupt the game), but will result in a penalty I'll decide on something appropriate when this happens.

I'm not going to set up a "Do Not PM List", as that IS part of the game when you bring it to forums. If you don't want to answer PMs, then don't. That's your choice. But, there will be no list.

A word of advice? Never give out your role in a PM unless you're absolutely certain of the other person's role. Role-fishing is something that's constantly done via PM.

That is all the advice I will give. The rest you just need to play to figure out.

That's all the changes I've made for just this game. The rest will run just like the mafia that you know. If someone needs a better understanding of the rules, please PM me, or some of the regular players like SJ, Phoenix, BloodyAfterTaste, Quillbell, Shizuka, Necrofantasia, Xeras, etc...

Please, try and have fun, I'm not utilitarian, but there are some rules which I feel need to be there to help the game be fun for everyone. Sign ups will probably go for around a week and a half. So that I can be done with my finals when we start the actual game, and it will also give us time to hopefully bring lots of new people in.

If, for Night 0, you are unable to post, and know this ahead of time, let me know please. I'm not instituting the no post GM kill rule for Night 0, but would greatly encourage players to participate, even if just to offer ice cream or something similar to everyone. Just get the silliness out of the way first.

New News :

All the phases will start and end at 8PM Pacific time (GMT-8). It's a time when I'm definitely awake, and definitely here. Of course, depending on how things go with the job search, it may get pushed forward some.

Just to make it clear once more, during Night 0, you are allowed to post. This is the only Night Phase this is applicable.

You can throw out ideas if you want, but I likely won't accept them, because you will know all about them, and that will give you an unfair advantage.

It'd be better if you just let me take care of this one. Don't worry, I have a LARGE knowledge pool of anime, and will be fine.

Idk there was a part of the game last time that I wish I could have pmed Quill. But I did sign up for the list. So I don't know if I was gonna sign up again. I just really was against what happened the first game we allowed them. Which was jumping down my throat because I didn't answer in what the other player thought was a timely manner. So i can't say if I will answer you at all. So don't go charging me if that is the case.

Anime theme sounds nice. I can't wait to see what characters you come up with.

Well, you just don't have to say whatever you accepted any of them or not.
I won't give them any anime-related names because I didn't really plan them as "anime related" roles

Troll - Role Switcher. Steals the role of the one who visits him at night and makes the visitor vanilla townie while becoming the role himself. Or, might even be reused by turning the visitor into a Troll . I tried thinking and my conclusion that it's best this effect will work only on townie roles and not on mafia in order to avoid "Side Changing" and complicating things too much.

Shaman - Can talk to the dead via PM. Though, they don't have to tell him the truth or to reply at all. I assume it can be handled in the game with a "code". Anyone who dies gets a code and the Shaman gets the same code at the role description. Then, when he PMs he says the "code" in order to prove he can speak with the dead.

The troll picks no one. The one who comes to the troll at night (doctor, jailer, cop and etc) is the one who gets his role stolen. Aside of mafia member which will kill the troll. No matter how much I though about it, I think it's better than allowing to switch sides.
