Incidentally, Ranma 1/2 is a great show (my first anime), but certainly has perverted moments.

It was my first anime as well. When I was going to high school, there was a couple students in an independent art class. And they did art while watching anime. I seen it on the television one day, and asked to borrow her vcr tapes. I fell in love instantly. ^^

I don't like older anime much... I tend to avoid anything that was released before 2000.

It's rather sad that you will miss out. Though, the animation has certainly aged quite a bit.

It has martial arts, comedy, harem, and reverse harem. The main character's name is Ranma, and he had been forced to be engaged to Akane Tendo, and to carry on the School of Anything Goes Martial Arts. Though, Ranma has a small issue though. When he is splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl. If you like laughing, you should try it. ^^

So that people will know what to skip when they read lots of comments after coming back.
Also, my last input on the topic will be that the idea of gender blender (or whatever it's called) is actually nice. I MIGHT try it at some point but I doubt. Kampfer is a series in which the male MC turns into a girl too. Heck, it wasn't all that "amazing" or "genius" but I REALLY enjoyed watching it. It just had such amazing situations and flowed awfully well.

it was in "kids channel" as part of telemanga.
another series that u missed there was Kaleido Star, which u rated quite high. so O:
but personally I was ready for dirty jokes when I was 10. so I kinda hated ranma, even though it had it's moment.
even now I'm not the kind that enjoy pure humour shows. I usually lmao only when I have a character in the series which I really like, and humour character doesn't appeal that much to me.
Slam dunk and Major are great examples for this :O I loled so hard while watching slam dunk XD

The masked man had appeared once more, “you are getting much quicker at this process. Looks like that slip-up at the beginning really helped you understand your situation. Now, Xeras, please take hold of this and do away with the hapless individual.” He held out a Flamethrower.

Xeras took the flamethrower and was about to pull the trigger-

“Slowly please, the audience want to see this person suffer,” the masked man stated.

Xeras nodded, then turned back towards Lopez, who was struggling against the binding. Xeras pulled the trigger, but only grazed Lopez’s arm. And slowly made their way to cover the entire body with flames ignoring all the screams, until Lopez’s body was nothing more than a charred corpse. Xeras then handed the flamethrower back to the masked man.

“Good. Now, you have succeeded yet again. This was Jessie (Pokemon) a standard Villain, her wish was to take over the organization she was a part of. But, it looks like she will remain a lackey forever.

Well, the night is young, so, get to sleep.” With that, the masked man clapped his hands once, and was suddenly just gone.

The night had begun again, but the people wondered just how safe they would be, even with these consecutive victories.
