NISA School for the Magical Artes (11/24 Tuesday)

Rin lay awake in bed...That wasn't all that fun. And I'm sure Alana's fine, she was probably just exhausted. And, I just realized, she said that she's actualy skilled in water! I KNOW water magic. I'm downright horrible at it, but Yun-baasan taught me all the tricks of how it works. Even if I can't perform it well at all, I could at least teach Alana how to better control her magic. For one, I can teach her the reality behind magic. So many here seem to not get it. Which is probably why so many struggle with it. When I get the chance to talk to Alana next, I really need to explain to her about the mana spirits...It seems that little munchkin demon has more of a grasp on what is going on than the others, but something's just really...off with her. Bernard-kun was useless, and if it weren't for Holly, I'm not sure how I'd be. "Not likely dead, that's for sure. Mom and dad would never allow that. But, they'd certainly kick me out of here. Then I wouldn't get to be with Alana anymore...I CAN'T let that happen! I was serious, and from now on, everything that I've been taught about sucessfully pulling off mischief undetected, I"m going to put into action! First things first, I need to practice my magic. I may understand how it works, but being here has seriously put a damper on how much my body can withstand. I need to find some place that won't catch on fire..." Rin thought aloud.

Rosette managed to find her way through to the dorms, most of the people here spoke languages she was not fluent in. Only English and German. Holding her potted plant close to her she scrambled through the dorms looking for her room number, she was told all of her stuff was already sent there ahead of her. "Eins..zwei..Drei.." she counted to herself as she passed each room. "Nein..zis is impossible!" she spoke out loud in front of one of the rooms. She did not even know what room she was in, they all looked the same! She began tapping her foot and looking down at her plant, "Vat do you think my petaled friend?" She asked it as if it knew all of the answers, of course being a plant it couldn't talk back.

Rin's ears perked up, "It's that same unfamiliar footsteps..." She got out of her bed, adjusted her uniform, and went outside of her room, only to see a girl wandering around, with a thick German accent. "Ey, what're you doing here?" She called out to the confused girl.

Rosette was thinking to herself hoping the plant would her her, thanks to her magic she could bring plants to life but it wouldn't exactly be useful to her right now if it didn't know either. That was when she heard a door open and turned to see a small cat person there. Well it wasn't that surprising. "Looking for my dorm," she stated simply, "Guten tag..er..katze," what was she supposed to say to a feline girl. She then remembered that cats liked to nibble on plants, since she had some at home that would so she raised her flower pot above her head hoping she wouldn't get any ideas.

"Good day to you too, what's your name? I'm Rin Lightfoot," she replied.

[Alura--x--Uneii]

"Ah, I see. I am Rosette," She told her trying to resist the urge to touch her ears.

"Alright, then, your room is right here," she pointed to a nameplate that had a crudely imprinted 'Rosette' on it. "They don't actually do room numbers in this part of the school, they just give us these poorly made nameplates."

"Ahh, zat ist stoopid." She said with a disgruntled huff. "Thank you for your help, sorry to have disturbed you."

"Why are you here, and why were you talking to a plant?" Rin questioned her, cocking her head to the side.

[Alura--x--Uneii]

"Oh zat." She said lowering the plant from her head, "I have control over plants, I thought it would know its way around, but I guess nein." She reached a hand out and rubbed the girl's ear "Ah so fluffy!"

Rin jumped back, extending her claws, "why'd you do that for!?"

[Alura--x--Uneii]

"Because I apologize that was invading your personal space, but katze are just so adorable, of course plants are like catnip for them if you aren't careful." Rosette smiled, "I came here because I wanted to learn more about my powers, I want to see what my limits are."

Rin retracted her claws, "f-fine. And, it isn't that you invaded my personal space, it's how you touched them. Didn't you ever own a cat? They don't really like that, but they like it when you scratch behind their ears. That's pretty common knowledge." Rin stood smugly, but then, wait...what did I just say!?

"Of course, oh do they? I will remember that for next time then." Rosette looked to the flower in the pot "Ah I forgot to give it water today, where is the nearest water source?" she asked the girl.

"Well, I have a sleeping friend who needs some practice with her water magic that I could lead you to?" Rin suggested.
