Probably for convenience's sake. I know you said you didn't want excessive planning, which won't be a problem early on, but as the story continues, we'll likely need some OOC discussion so we're not written into a corner or are leaving too many story threads unresolved and the RP becomes nothing but non-sequitur posts. Then it would be the RP version of Family Guy and no one wants that. And a separate topic would be more convenient so it doesn't clog up the story topic.

I don't like the idea. You'd be surprised how well it could run without that topic, but if enough of the players want it, then I will of course implement. Of course, it's not like I could stop someone else from making the topic.

I would really like it if we could not co-ordinate things, and just react. But, if others really don't want to do that, then I will make one.

Thing is, we'll probably need it for more practical reasons (e.g someone wants to join but isn't sure how). I think it's a good idea, even if we don't use it to structure the RP.

We'll see how it plays out. I don't think this will get as complicated as NISA Saga, so if there is need for an info topic, it won't be for a while. Maybe once it starts, you cant just change the thread title to direct interested people to the OP for info on how to join.

That seems pretty reasonable.

Well, I would like the opinion of more of the people who are signed up as well.

If I do create an 'info' topic, I would just ask that you use it for non-game related stuff. We could of course, keep an archive of stuff that happened. But I don't think it needs to be anywhere near what the NISA saga has.

I will likely make the first three or so posts, so that I have room to edit in stuff like that and stuff.

I won't be influencing things too much. I wanna be apart of this as much as anyone else. I don't have any planned ending or future or anything of the sort. Trust me, this is NOT a planned and thought out experience. I think some people think I have some sort of 'master plan', but I assure you, I am winging this.

Nah, I don't think you have some kind of major plot. I just tougth it would be interesting if there was such a powerfull figure.

Just to chip in even though I'm not in it, I would say that making a new thread for the RP itself would be a good idea instead of just turning this thread into it, as otherwise you have to get through seven or so pages of preparation before you get to any actual RP.
