Yeas, I used something rather similar but my overall goal was different. I didn't say I shouldn't be voted because I'm town but rather that I won't defend myself because I believe that if anything, it is better to lynch a vanilla which can't help much, rather than someone important. I hoped that people will vote for more suspicious players, however I was more than ready to be lynched for the sake of the town. This doesn't seem to be your case as you just want people to not vote you because you claim you are town. I just mentioned the similarity in order to claim that such strategies won't really help.

I don't think that claiming a role would be helpful for me. Beyond that, the strategy you described is exactly the same as what I am doing, except that I'm being objective about it.

Yes, that's definitely pro-town as long as you:
1) Really sure he is town and convince other players he is. I didn't see you putting much effort into that.
2) Try to nominate a better candidate, as lynch cannot be avoided, and convince people why that candidate is better. Hardly really seen you doing this as well

Regarding the first part, I meant that if you think I'm fast too accuse, then try to convince me otherwise. Don't just say "you're just accusing without any basis". As for the second,I just said you didn't do that much effort in convincing people that candidate is good. I'd say nothing if you were hardly posting, but that's not the case. You are posting fairly a lot, yet don't really try to catch scum much. Or at least that's how it looks to me.

If that's the case, then actually try for something you do believe in. Like that random lynch of people. There's no point in gunning for someone so strongly just to have it blow up in your face. If we could vote "Random Lynch", and get it by majority, then I would be with you on that.

Yes. I did think that the votes for Claymore kinda came outta nowhere really. He may seem suspicious to me in some ways, but at least he is doing something.

You still post more than many others, thus one would expect these posts to be about suggesting strategies and scumhunting. And I didn't say you didn't say any reason. I'll say it again as it seems you keep missing what I'm saying: you aren't putting much effort into that. I didn't say you aren't doing any of it at all. As my own proof to that is that I remember most of the reasons people stated for voting but not yours. You didn't stress it enough. Hardly at all.

That depends on what to follow. What if right now there is a scum in the tie already? I think we shouldn't miss the chance. The votes which came at me out of nowhere, like in Vampko's game, make me believe this might be the case.
