My dad got me into it at a very young age, same with RollerCoaster Tycoon. I can't begin to even count the hours I spent making a civilization and destroying my enemies. I loved dominating a map, and when I got my hands on Rise of Rome, oh Dear Lord...SaturnineTenshi wrote:@MizuMikomi: Age of Empires! I cannot begin to number the hours spent on this one. Sure, there are games which have demanded mightier chunks of my life, but AoE is up there. Siege engines and mounted knights and longbowmen and Chu Ko Nus! Man. Generally, I'm averse to RTS, but there was something about AoE that was just damn fun.
Age of Empires II and III are fun if not just as addicting, but I don't think they amount to the fun I had with AoE itself.
I found a way to get it to install onto my VAIO, and I am considering playing it right now. Just takes... twenty minutes to find the disc, shouldn't be too hard, right?
Oh and just call me Mizu or Miz'. ^^
@Red- Banjo-Kazooie is a super addicting platformer that is one of the best fetch-quests released on the N64! I played it countless times, and Banjo-Tooie was just as good, they are by far two of my all time favorites. :3
I can't tell you how many times I tore through Banjo-Kazooie as a kid. I remember when I was limite don game time per day, I would spend my entire time playing thos games. Banjo-Kazooie I'd get all hte Music Notes, Jinjos, Jiggies and find all the secrets.
I have those games memorized front, back, and backwards.
I remember when I friend wanted me to play through the first level; Mumbo's mountain, with my eyes closed. I have that level memorized so well I can collect everything in ten minutes, if not faster.
