I couldn't finish Eternal Sonata, however. The monologues and childish dialogue just grew to be too much of a burden. It's too bad, because I really enjoyed the soundtrack, and I like tri-Crescendo as a developer.

@rasberrylicious: Clannad! As I said, I was debating adding this to my list. I probably should have replaced YsF with it just to have some VN representation in there. I, too, spent quite some time on Pajama Sam.

I quit Eternal Sonata in the final dungeon. I just got really tired of it. I might (read: won't) finish it sometime.

Shame, as the ending ties it up quite nicely, as well as having awesome music.
Although that's the PS3 version's ending, as I know they altered the plot somewhat from the 360 version, but I don't know to what extent having never played it.

I think that's a good idea. But remember to revive Claves before heading for the final battle.

Alternatively, just do what I normally do with post-game dungeons which is not complete them until I've finished the game once, as you can simply go back and do it then.
Therefore you're not hilariously overlevelled for the final fight at least once.
