YOU

YOU ARE WHY DC KEEPS CALLING ME TFG

Hi, everyone. If you're not following the Maf XXII thread, I'm someone from another website DC plays mafia on. I played a lot of Brawl back in the day, (hurr durr) hence the name. I'm mostly into Minecraft, LoL, general Nintendo stuff, and getting my backlog under wraps nowadays, but I still play a pretty mean game.

Heh, good job figuring that out so early Image

TehBrawlGuy wrote:Oh man. What's he done?

I'd call him Penny+. Maybe Penny++. Maaaaaybe Penny+++
'+' means "better version" of course, because one does not simply derp more than Penny Image

So I have been considering making DDC a total random-free game, aside of the initial distribution of Tribes.
What do you think of this revolution?

I'd have to actually see the rules before I make my judgment. Does "random-free" impact factors like accuracy?

Yes. No random for accuracy nor critical or aliments.

-Critical will be always dealt to players inflicted with an aliment.
-Agility will greatly raise damage inflicted by Critical/Weakness hits, as well as greatly reduce received damage from them.
-Aliments will be 100% inflicted, but will mostly be used with the new Counter targeting mechanic, which makes the skill target only whoever attacks you that turn.
-Fatal skills will always work (HP reduction, not instant kill) on players inflicted with the correct "Aliment Type". Mind Aliment (Sleep/Panic/Charm) for Expel skills, and Virus Aliment (Poison/Mute/Curse) for Death skills.

^Is the gist of it Image

Actutally we've just gotten lazy over the years. We use to post current votes up often.

I might as well come out and say it now. I'm planning on using a gimmick similar to claymore's "night bars." It'll be somewhat similar, and if nothing else, less random.

Naw, I just realized it was similar after I played your last game.

I believe these "night bars" refer to a gimmick by which a randomly selected group of players is given the opportunity to chat privately with each other for a period of time.

Hmm...
Should perhaps consider how to eliminate the 'random' factor, considering I'm doing the same in DDC.

So I was thinking to add the following functions to DDC:

1. Transform - A basic command that allows you to transform into a different DF from the same rank in the cost of a Double Clash.
2. Fiend Type - Additional Demon Form type which is even stronger than the Skill type (the DF with the gray card which can be chosen only by Leadership Ranks). In order to use it, the player must first deal a "Deathblow" to at least one player. Switching to this form will require the use of the above Transform skill after the Deathblow condition is met.

I might not use (2) in DDC3 because I'm doing a fairly serious makeover to the whole thing and need to test so many things, but would still be happy to hear a general opinion on them both.

These ideas meet my approval. Well done.
