PringlesXD wrote:"A disabled AI? That certainly sounds interesting. If possible, I would like to take a look at it as well. Please, show us the way." Melissa said, already believing Gordon would allow them check this disabled AI.
Gordon nodded and took the lead. He led them into a small space that contained a working terminal and an inactive robot nearby. Gordon typed in a code which brought up a hologram which to Roxanne looked like diagnostics. There were several areas shaded in red, obviously marking things that were malfunctioning.
"Here you are," he said. "See if there's anything you can do."
Roxanne approached the console and studied it. After a moment she asked, "Does this AI have a name? Maybe identification can wake it up.'
"We haven't tried that," Gordon replied, surprised at Roxanne's knowledge of such things. "But that would be difficult, wouldn't it? Millions of names out there."
"Maybe it has a database which would help us narrow things down," she said."
Roxanne entered a command which replaced the diagnostics and put up some words for all of them to see. Most of it was in other languages, but one was in English. However, the letters for all of them were scrambled.
This is what they saw:
DEJA CENRUTSINU.
Roxanne turned to the others.
"Anyone have any bright ideas?" she asked.

"Ever wonder why we're here?" a guard asked another guard.
"What do you mean, 'why we're here'?" the other guard replied. "Ferrum told us to be here, that's why."
"No, no, not
here," guard one said, flailing his arms about, indicating their guard post. "I meant like why we are here. Why we exist."
"I don't know, man," guard two said exasperated. "When the hell did you get so philosophical?"
"I guess after spending months guarding this place, it just gets you thinking," guard one said.
They, along with the other guards, neither noticed nor paid any attention to Sophie and her general location. Because at that moment, an explosion sounded from off to the west, and every guard rushed in the other direction, leaving Sophie alone.
"Guess you're about to find out why we're here!" guard two said.
Meanwhile..."What the hell is happening out there?" Bartholomew yelled into his earpiece, eyes off of Sophie and his attention directed towards the explosion in district one of the ghettos.
"I don't know, sir, but a guard outpost just exploded out of nowhere and the building nearby collapsed, killing both civvies and us!" the guard yelled back frantically. "The surviving civvies are in full-scale rebellion!"
"Goddamn it, get things in order!" he barked. His attention was torn completely away from Sophie.
