It's indeed quite unfortunate that one of town's best roles fell into your hands. As you never get the chance to reveal your vital info on time. Image

Masonizer was indeed a very powerful role (the town equivalent to a cult); as such, under the right conditions, it definitely could have changed the tide of the game. With this in mind, I suppose there was a sufficient balance of power among factions.

SJX, what would have happened if I were masonized while being a mentee? Since I was not mafia, lopez should not die. In theory, I would become privy to two similar quicktopics concurrently, correct?

But of course. Everything was flawlessly calculated Image

I... reluctantly acknowledge this fact, only in regard to power distribution, not necessarily the other aspects of the game.

I knew all the roles, as I made some of them, but not who got what role. So yeah, it was legit. I was perhaps playing for teh lulz, but I did try to catch scum and clear town. And damn, glad I removed Shizuka from my town reads a few posts after I added him there. Almost made a mistake.

You had access to the QT with the list of roles and who got what roles and actually never looked at that post? I find that hard to believe, but I'll take your word for it. Image

You would have access to both QTs. I thought of a few situations if this were to happen. It was the ever awesome claymore who proposed the role of Mentor. My original idea was to give mafia two role blockers, one for the night and the other for the day. Claymore suggested something different due to the serious lack of day roles I've planned. Not only was it just a plain better idea, it could prove interesting beyond what I envisioned originally should you have been contacted both by the masonizer and mentor.

I thought he looked at the roles and everything too, until he told me on MSN. Something about making the game more fair, and also more fun/interesting for him.

Xeras's role had the potential to be OP as heck, but everyone managed to keep him pretty much vanilla the whole game.

That was the plan. If Clay was telling the truth (which he wasn't. This game would of totally had the same outcome if I lived on D3, I tells you.), we weren't going to be stupid and give Xeras that role. Why not give him a role that only works every other night? Makes him not very threatening. Mwhehehe
