Very few movies live up to the hype. In fact I can't think of a hand full that did for me.

My personal list of movies that lived up to their hype:

1. Harry Potter: DH pt. 2
2. The entire LotR series
3. The Dark Knight

I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of them right now.

Forgot about a couple you mentioned there. Perhaps I do have a handful that lived up to the hype.

The LotR Trilogy
Batman Begins, The Dark Knight
300
Inception

There's also a few Japanese and Chinese films that never got hype in NA, but if they did; they would have lived up to it for me easily~

Ip Man 1 and 2
Goemon
Red Cliff
The Warlords

*gasp* :o :o

Go and find them on DVD/Blu-ray and watch them!~

Also take a look for some of those other movies I mentioned, they're all great~

Should be able to find 300, Inception and at least a couple of the others at Walmart I'd guess. :)

I will when I get a chance. Right now, there's a lot of annoying crap going on that I'm sick and tired with having to deal with.

Inception is the one movie that not only lived up to the hype, but completely blew me away. It's directed by Christopher Nolan so epicness is guaranteed.

It is awesome. Amusingly enough, one of my neighbors worked on it. Some of the guns in the movie are his.

Ah, so I saw the Avengers. It was quite good. I loved the banter between Stark and the Captain

The after-after-credits-teaser in Avengers was pretty awesome :D

Shawarma-based "action".

I only stayed that far cause my friend in the club told me there was a funny scene at the very end of the credits >.>

Faux. Regarding that dream, I think I'll just tell you in MSN. Really, the only Marvel in it was a young Nick Fury, and a shield as strong as Captian Americas. Otherwise, it was mostly Batman. Riddler, Joker, and Bane, to be precise. Holy fuck, Bane. That man is a terrifying beast to encounter in your dreams. I'm just saying.

Also. I have to say. After watching The Avengers and Captian America, I'd have to say me favorites would have to be Iron Man and Captian America. No real opinion on Thor JUST yet. I have to see that still.

Thor became one of my favorites after I watched his own movie. Just sayin.
