Music Bit:
CallingThe boy and girl were sitting back to watch the other players bicker. The girl was staring at her cell phone, muttering to herself.
"..What did you mean earlier?""Hmmm? What?""When you said you were just glad to meet someone you could talk to. I've never met you before, why talk to me?""You're a Player at least.""I'm not playing anything. And why would that make you want to talk to me?""Um... because I can't talk to anyone other than Players?" She looks puzzled.
"Of course you're playing. You've got pins.. and I saw you had a timer on your hand and everything...""Can we stop being Players? I didn't sign up to play any game, I'm out of here.""............" She looks saddened a moment.
"They'll erase us if we don't win.. you want that?""Who's they?""The Reapers. Like that guy with the wings earlier. It is the Reaper's Game after all."What the hell kind of game is this?!"Say, what's your name?""... Neku. Neku Sakuraba.""Aww, that's a cute name.""Shut up."
"My name's Shiki! Shiki Misaki. Sorry, I didn't really think to introduce myself earlier. What with the noise and all. Oh!" Shiki takes a moment to dig in her bag.
"Here." She hands Neku a pin with a red flame coloring.
"What's this? Another pin?""Yeah. I figured you might get some use out of it, I sure can't use it. They work for some people, and don't for others. Dunno why.""...I'll be back later." Neku gets up and leaves.
"Hey, wait..." Shiki sits back and looks at her phone again.
"I hope this works out..." She says to herself.
Neku tries leaving through other streets, but finds them all mysteriously blocked. Even though it seems nothing's there, it's as if an invisible barrier won't let him pass.
What the...?Other people walking to and fro pass through as normal. When he tries to engage some people in conversation or get attention, Neku realizes no one can see or hear him. He recalls Shiki's words about not being able to talk to non-Players and returns to the main area filled with the bickering people. Sitting down on a curve, he takes a moment to think this all over before...
"Oh, there you are. What've you been up to?"Neku's noticably startled a moment, turning and looking up to see Shiki behind him.
"Oh, you again." 
She sits beside him on the curve with a huff.
"My name is Shiki, mister rude guy.""Hey you, was wondering... how do we even tell the Reapers from the Players?""Well, usually, Reapers have those wings on their backs. But I don't see anyone like that here."Thank you Doctor Obvious, you've managed to revive my annoyance with your sheer stupidity.
"Ok... yeah, like the bull man from earlier. I mean in this game we're playing right now. If we figure out who the Reapers are, we win right? So what do we have to do?""Uh... like I said, I'm not too good at this game." Shiki says, embarrassed.
"But I've been around talking to people. I figured I'd somehow be able to see something wrong if they were a Reaper. And actually... about that.. there was this one guy.."Just then another boy came strolling up to the two of them.
"Hi there ~. Nice to meet you, I don't think I've seen you two around much today. Allow me to cut to the chase and just say it seems people are wrapping up and votes for who to kick out are being tallied. You two might want to get in there while you've got a chance, hee hee ~"Who's this douchebag?"There was a time limit? But our timers are gone...""Well, there is a time for voting each day it seems. But it isn't mandatory, you won't get erased if you don't do it in time or anything." The kid shrugs.
"I personally didn't get involved with that bit of madness, I can't blame either of you for not bothering. But you know, voting does start to make a difference, so I'd at least pay attention if I were you." The kid puts his hand up to his chin.
"I was surprised to see that you were so laid back, miss. Since of course, you have the highest vote tally at the moment. Aren't you concerned?""What?! I do?!""Yes. Happened rather suddenly, I think. People started pointing you out for being erased since they saw you talking to everyone and snooping around in their business. Some said you were so cheerful-seeming, you might be considered suspicious in this game, trying to sweeten up to others. Furthermore, you've been spotted messing about with your phone rather frequently. As some put it... almost as if you were "reporting in" as it were. Paranoia running rampant and all that." He explains calmly. He then glances back.
"Oh dear, it appears they've come to a decision, I've arrived too late to alert you.""Come to think of it.. what have you been doing with that phone?" Neku couldn't meet her eyes and spoke coldly.
"I kept seeing you take it out, but I tried my own earlier and it isn't like we can actually call anyone while we're here...""Well... I..." Shiki seemed a bit frightened. Another voice spoke over her before she could speak further.
"Little miss spy is finally getting what's coming to her.""Bye bye ~""And to think .. that was an act all along, huh? I almost fell for it. This is why you can't trust others."Neku starts to use a pin without thinking, but a man comes up from behind and lays a hand on his shoulder.
"No, don't, Phones. The Reapers take it from here."
From out of no where, a giant wolf-like creature appears and leaps at Shiki. There's a flash, then nothing more.
"What.. happened?""She was erased. They should be telling us what happened in a minute. Oh... and Neku? Look over there." The boy pointed. Neku turns to look and sees a small box on the ground near where Shiki had stood earlier. He turns back to ask what the box was. The other kid was gone. The man was too; people were shuffling over to where the big bull-like Reaper had appeared and was making some sort of announcement.
"Seems you've missed today, Players. That girl was a fellow Player, not a harmful presence. Try again tomorrow." He smirks and then walks off.
Meanwhile, Neku opens the box to find a note inside:
One and two, three, four, then five;

Shiki Misaki (Seemingly Friendly Girl)(Flavor Cop) was erased by a Wolf Noise Day 1!
