Interesting Mugen Souls Creativity and Oddities

Postby chouchou's peon » Sun Aug 18, 2013 10:49 pm

We've previously made Trivia Thread for Mugen Souls but that's probably brain aching. Just like most fans of Mugen Souls, we're very creative and have high IQs due to being a hard game to play. I seem to know the dumbest things.

How about sharing some weird things that seem like a coincidence or anything that is not explained well in the game?

Another important number in Mugen Souls is the number 7 and it represents many things. Obvious the number 7 represents the hues of the rainbow but did you know that the 7 worlds represent the days of the week?

Spoiler to condense a long list
Spoiler:
日曜日= Sunday (Sun day)
日曜界= Sun World

月曜日 Monday (Moon Day)
月曜界 Moon World

火曜日 Tuesday (Fire Day)
火曜界 Fire World

水曜日 Wednesday (Water Day)
水曜界 Water World

木曜日 Thursday (Tree Day)
木曜界 Tree World

金曜日 Friday (Metal Day)
金曜界 Metal World

土曜日 Saturday (Earth Day)
土曜界 Soil World

And also notice the order Chou-Chou travels through the worlds is according to the days of the week!!!

If you find anyone complaining that NISA or IF don't know the difference between water and ice, tell them about the naming convention of 7 worlds.

Now that we know that the original dealt with the days of the week, it comes to no surprise that Mugen Souls Z uses the number 12 to represent the months, constellations etc but that will be closed until Mugen Souls Z gets localized.

Our math classes have been teaching us wrong and only saying there is only one number.

Chou-Chou is all about imagination and the number that deals with it is the number "infinity". It is such an amazing number and it allows us to test our mind's limit. Creativity is fueled by the concept of "infinity". Lady Chou-Chou, you're the best!

Probably one of the strangest things that happened the story:

Belleria is a Terse right? Remember Moon Worlds story and what Moe Shirogane was weak against? I might need a better explanation of why the charm didn't work.

Looks like Belleria isn't cut out for turning Demon Lords and needs to collect more peons. At first I thought it was that the writers of the story forgot that Belleria and Coco were Terse lol. At least this made the scene ties in with Tree World's story, where Belleria can unleash the Demon Lords inside false ones :)

For the first part of the comment, I can, when I want to, be very creative, and I do have a high IQ.

And, highly coincidental? Deified Vorgis looks like a Negative Bellaria, with evil butterfly wings. :3

I always wondered what that deal was about Soul's secret Technique, why did Sandy push Soul out of the way? I'm very curious and expect something perverted and unheroic because of the un-mutual relationship between Sandy and Soul.

Oh wow, I was expecting something pretty lewd and looks like I was right!

My first impressions of Soul were the same as Altis and Chou-Chou's. Thought he was a criminal, breaking pots, stealing from townspeople and making his party members wear a bikini.

Atlis: I'm all for acts of evil, but this seems kind of icky.

That being said which character is the most Heroic out of all 7?

Hahaha, I always though Soul was supposed to make fun of old school fantasy RPG main characters. Even though Chou-Chou is the real hero of Mugen Souls, wonder how the game would be if she switched roles with Soul?

Anyways, I always though Dees was the most heroic out of the 7 heros. I think she was supposed to make fun how western games have their main characters very tough and without emotions.

Of all 7...................... EIkia doesn't even act like a hero, Ryuto is too much of a chicken and is easily frightened, Marina didn't even know what a Demon Lord is, Soul forced Sandy to wear a tiny bikni, Tsukika, like Ryuto, is a chicken, and is easily frightened, Welsh is weak, and doesn't like fighting much, and Dees........... whoops..... ***! Dees is the most heroic.

All Shampurus can say is "Puru. Purupuru" in cutscenes but it's strange how are they able to speak the human language when they are in battle.

Why can't they speak normally the other times :p

Mugen Souls references are pretty hard to catch but I wonder why Sun World has the first two continents looking different.

I came up with a rumor that the Dark Continent in Sun World, Raisant, was a scrapped world meant to represent Terse since most of the place is purple and dark. Chou-Chou might've originally went to conquer continents to take one world. There's evidence in the game that some concepts were changed all of a sudden
Spoiler:
such as Ditz/ Graceful monsters getting their affinity elements messed up.
Ex: Monsters with Ditz using Thunder/ Graceful monsters using Shine when it should be the opposite.

Metal World is the finalized area to represent Chou-Chou Terse since that's where you fight her post game.
